Yep. Way too much competition these days. Being nice to your customers is the least you can do. I don't see why the hat thing was such a big deal. Is this place as nice as like Sullivans? Or Ruth's Chris? Other than those types of restaurants, I'll wear a hat anywhere. There was this Mexican restaurant next to the UT campus that had great food, but I thought the owner was a schmuck so I never ate there.
You should also write about this on b4-u-eat. That will really help spread the word to Houston about what a jerk this guy is. He'll think twice about being so rude when he sees that it could really affect his business. http://www.b4-u-eat.com/houston/restaurants/reviews/rsv4651.asp
what if it wasn't really the owner.. just trying to scare you... unless that guy is really too dumb to say that..
Just so you (and your mother) know, after a month or two clothes (or any personal items) left somewhere can be legally considered abandoned and your mom, as the store owner, is fully able to trash or sell the clothes. That woman is lucky they were still there.
Some people are so stupid. But she's right. It would have never happened at a white dry cleaners. They'd have thrown her stuff away. I swear I really hate stupid racist people who honestly believe they aren't racist.
I was thinking the same thing After the 'White Cleaners' crack . . I would have stopped looking Business like that . . . one does not need Rocket River
I would have too. I think I would have calmly asked her to leave before saying that I'd call the police if she ever set foot in my store again.
