Tracy seems insulted about something, or just pissed off at his teammates. He mentions that the Jazz ran the same play several times down the stretch and "for some reason, we just couldn't stop it" and I think he might have been calling out the frontcourt players on that. Who knows, but he definitely seems bothered.
Ditto what ClutchCityReturns says. Also, If you notice TMac's comments, he refers to us not setting picks and people not knowing where they were supposed to be on the last play. Or I think he was referring to the last play anyway. He seemed to be saying the failed picks caused AK to still be on his hip when he was getting ready to shoot the 3. I can accept the fact he said he passed to a wide open man to hit a shot when he had 2 guys hanging on him, but I still want to see the replay of that last possession. Also, who was setting picks? One was Yao - was there a second failed pick? I don't remember. As for the PnR not being stopped - hell, that's a Rockets/Jazz tradition. They haven't been able to stop that thing since the mid-80's.
Tmac seems to be taking digs at Yao specifically in that video. He also made a dig at Alston it seemed. I'm liking his attitude and his recent play less and less. You would think a perennial playoff loser like Tmac would've put more energy into this game, rather than blame his teammates.
Not really. I've always been a tremendous fan of T-Mac's and I can't even remember if I've ever criticized him for something he did -- until now. He's our MVP and he's the one we're depending on to take us deep into the playoffs. Bad leadership like this is not good at all especially at this stage of the season, and I hope he gets called out for it. We all know how this sort of attitude from Dirk has cost the Mavs in the playoffs two years in a row -- a player we all love to hate. If T-Mac can't take responsibility and carry the team on his back come playoff time, we're doomed to failure again.
One think I like about Alston, is unlike Tmac, he admits having a rought game instead of saying WE or THE GUYS all the time when talking about effort and execution.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that Tmac shifted the blame on Yao and to Shane as well, to a lesser extent.
I don't think Tmac was blaming anyone, I think he was discussing what happened. If a pick was supposed to be set and wasn't.......so what if he brings it up. DD
When we lose, TMAC will include others or shift the blame but when we win, he puts his "will" on the game.
so ture ""This was a game for us to see where we were and obviously we weren't ready for this," McGrady said. "Loose balls, on the ground ... They did whatever it took to win this ballgame and that's why they won." first loss to Jazz "I tried to set the tone right away," McGrady said. "I wanted to let my teammates know that this is how it's going to be until the final buzzer ends it." win over Jazz "It was a bad loss because we beat ourselves," McGrady said. "We stopped executing and we stopped getting loose balls and we stopped executing on the defensive end. That cost us the game." loss to Jazz I am really sick of it.
you have to know your players personality with some players, you can criticize them, blame them, they will learn from their mistakes and become better, actually they are secure enough to blame themselves. tmac and alson are not those type players, so jvg always encouraged them.
Man u guys are trying to read to much into this interview tmac or anyone else in this video there is no one pointing fingers at anyone so you all need to stop trying to come up with **** when there is no **** to come up with seems like everyone in here are like women sitting around to get there hair done in a beauty shop JUST STOP ALREADY AND GET READY TO WHEN A COUPLE OF ROUNDS IN THE PLAYOFFS
