ABSOLUTELY AGREED! YAO NEEDS TO IMPROVE THIS, YAO NEEDS TO IMPROVE THAT. IS TMAC THAT PERFECT? IF NOT, PLEASE DO NOT JUDGE FROM YOUR OWN STANDPOINT. YAO KNOW WHAT HE' SUPPOSED TO IMPROVE HIMSELF TO MAKE TEAM BETTER. DIDNOT HE? I DONOT WANNA BASH TRACY B/C EVERYONE HAS HIS OWN COOL NIGHT. HOWEVER, PLS DONOT PUSH ALL THE PROBLEM THAT CAUSING THE LOSS TO YAO, ESPECIALLY, WHEN YAO CONTRIBUTE SUCH NOT BAD STUTS.

I am getting tired of the yoh and Tof. Yao did everything he could to carry the
rockets to the 4th quarter to give them a chance and he is being dissed by tof!!!!!!!!!!! Unreliable as he is he is much better mentally and has a bigger heart that TMac, the prima donna whose superego JVG has to massage every day to make sure he doing do an encore of the act he put on in Orlando. TMac may be a good but I think he can only be good if he is the numero uno of the team and the only star of the team. Unfortunately, the rockets have their Franchise player YAO also. That is why TMac performed well when Yao was out and disappears after Yaos's return. If you look at his games before Yaos's injury you will find a similar pattern to what is happening now.

you dont have to be the God to have the stamina that last 4 quarters. Yao has never in his career averaged more than 35 mins a game. that's one of his limitations that is probably impossilbe to improve.

As a big yao fan, I think the poster was merely pointing out the obvious. Yao's a giant, and couldn't keep up in the fourth, so what's new?

Tmac, well, maybe it's just me, but I don't see the confident and fire in his lazy eyes comes crunch time.

On the othe hand, Head might be the ans. You cut his hand with a blade and you've got yourself a coolant leak.

Hey man! Calm down please. I love Yao more than T-mac. But you people now seems to treat him as nothing, just because of one lose! Think about his performance when Yao was hurt and away......

well, that's the time T-mac and teammates should stand out.
I never think Yao will have a good shot when he's tired in 4th quarter.

The more people respond to this idiotic thread, the more credence it gives it. just stop responding. we know yao is a heck of a player and in my opinion our best, but why stress over what anyone else thinks.

Yea, every Q's last shot, I really can not remember any shots he made.

So it's jvg's fault, he need design some new plan.
It's jvg's fault, he need one night use 8 players and another night change some members of his rotation. We live and die on our shots and 3s but when we really need them, they always gone.

Usually refs will hesitate to give a call at low post hustles in 4th quater, especially when the opponent team's big men have already got lots of fouls.

If Yao did not carry the team until the 4th quarter, we wouldn't of even had a chance to win the game. He was fouled on the possessions where he missed those shots... He would of had the stamina to carry on in the 4Q if he didn't have to notch up all those minutes when no one else was producing.

I will critize the big man when he is at fault, but tonight's game is a result of T-mac sucking it for most of the night, blaming Yao for tonight's loss is just unthinkable.

    Yao's Teammates for all 4 quarters: turnover+missed jumpers+blocked soft layups+missed FTs+ lost rebounds

The only times we did go to Yao in the clutch was when he was the only one producing on the team, by then, he is usually tired from having to carry the team for 4 whole quarters. The other times, he never even touches the ball in the last 2 minutes of the game. I wouldn't call that a fair analysis.

Many times YAO not have good 4th because he is out of gas: instead one=to-one postup , maybe PnR between him and TMAC shoudl work
