Vspan has too little shot attempts for it to be an accurate representation.

I dont know why Rafer shoots so much period. I dont understand why JVG likes him so much. You;d think a guy you takes as many crappy and ill-advised shots and makes as many boneheaded plays as Rafer would not be on JVG;s good side.

He should pass 75% of his 3pt attempts to Shane Battier to shoot instead. I feel much more comfortable with Shane shooting the 3 than Rafer does.

LOL. Spanoulis has more hotzones than Rafer. It's funny even though there are not enough shots to judge. At least Spanoulis, knows to take most of his shots to the interior, where his strengths lie. Rafer should limit his shots everywhere but the top of the key.

i agree, his fg% is not great, but it is also held down by a lot of 0-1 games, which really isnt that bad

The 18 for 68 from 15 and in is atrocious (not counting the actual layups, which I suppose must be unopposed fast breaks). That blue arc from the free throw line in means he is shooting about 25% from 15 feet and in if it's not a layup. That is unbelievable. This is the most pathetic thing to look at.

Okay so you can dribble up the court and dump the ball to Yao or TMAC. What else? can you work on something please!

To not have a hot zone under the basket is pretty bad

    Not really.

If you compare the percentage of shot attempts, it seems that V-Span is more prone to driving the ball into the lane ala Tony Parker, whereas Rafer seems to be content on mostly shooting from long range.

I honestly believe that teams will force the Rockets to win or lose by not guarding Rafer.....

And, I think that is an excellent strategy, we will win some games, but over a 7 game series, Rafer will hurt the team more than help it if he is expected to provide any serious offense.

His 3-point shooting from slightly left and right of the top isn't bad, either... 37% and 38%. Pretty good, actually. His percentages from the corner are poor, but the numbers suggest that he is limiting his shots from there.

Overall, Rafer is shooting 37% on threes this year. Not great, but certainly nothing to complain about.

Your choice, 3's or his floaters. I take the 3's.

this is an easy answer, the other team knows he can't shoot so they left him open 24hr, get used to it. Come to his brick shop where he will always be open. We won't go any where in the playoff unless he shop choose to not sell too many brick but lots of dishes :)

kidd can't shoot. you clearly dont remember those clutch playoff performances against detroit where jason kidd gets held to..
    ZERO POINTS

no thanks, we already have a PG that cant shoot, that we dont have to pay the max too.

Cassell started this trend of the PG who can shoot too threat. look at Parker, Jason Terry and ..STEVE NASH.

all can make plays and all are GREAT SHOOTERS.

Battier should shoot more 3's than Rafer. I'll never quite understand why two times late in the game yesterday why they did not feed a wideopen Battier. Oh well ...
