Why wouldn't I be? When's the last time that Yao came out in a half-court set to the 3point line and he was open?
My posts in other threads: We need a player like Steve kerl in Spurs. I miss JB Our 8 rotations too stubbern, sometimes we need put Novak or someone else to do the 3 Our 3s always very good when we play teams not that good. Our 3s always very poor when we really need them. Yao is not good for 4th, Tmac need do more in 4th. I'm mad for this lose. JVG, Tmac, Alston, JH, Battier, Yao, Head, JL,... Rox, you d better blow them out in playoff.....
Hey man, if you're going to start posting contemperaneous opinions in the Garm, please either warn us or at least wait until after midnight.
I tend to think so. If he brought anything else to the game: mediocre rebounding, passable defense, anything, he'd be out there. Guys that can stretch the defense as much as him are invaluable when it gets tough. Matt Bullard played for years for that very reason.
This Rockets team needs a bull dog type of player/starter more than anything else. Ron Artest after the right treatment from a mental insititution is what the doctor orders for this team.
Rafer Alston and Luther Head are both capable. IT'S ONE GAME PEOPLE! Rafer played terrible against L.A. and came up huge for us in the end, that was what, three days ago?
Rafer's true test is the playoffs. A test where haters of Robert Horry, get a big Will Smith -NANANANANA when he brings championships The playoffs is a place where Sam Cassell hits clutch jumpers and takes various scrub teams to their apex, and where overpaid Jason kidd scores ZERO points vs Detroit. The playoffs are the true test where true NBA legends are made, not on the playground where they dont have a 24 second shot clock or they call carrying.
