Is this a good place for a party? I've been to the one in Seattle and loved the place. Never had the food there, but the drinks, dessert and the restaurant itself was awesome.

Me wifey is going to Columbia and I want to throw her a surprise party. Anybody been to the one on Westheirmer? How is the food and the restaurant itself?

It's a nice place for a small group (less then 5).

Food and drinks are right around average.

    The sweets are awesome though.

It's pretty pricey considering that its just fondue, but the experience alone will get you in a chicks pants because it will make you look all cultured. Unless she's smart enough to know its a nationwide chain of restaurants.

If you've never been, I guess it's cool to do once. I didn't want to go the first time we did, but had a blast. We went again this past New Year's Eve and neither one of us liked it all that much.

About halfway through your meal you'll realize that cooking your own food isn't that fun and that everything tastes the same.

Then you'll get to dessert and like it.

Its worth it to go once. If I remember correctly, almost everything is ordered for couples.
