I dont know and quite frankly this guy is an idiot. He has so many offers from teams but he wont go and sign, i dont know why i think because he wants alot of money. He is just a lazy ass player. All he can do is shoot, but i bet by now his shot is off and is all fat.

Francis3, sometimes I wonder if youve even seen half the players you cut down, play extensively. Because if you watched the Rox at all last year, you wouldn't say all he can do is shoot.

Dude if you watched any game once Mack was incorporated into the Rox offense, youd of seen that he was effective on the break, one of the only ones who slashed to the hoop. And was probably the only one who utilized a pump fake after the double and the kick out.

And quite honestly his D wasn't all that bad. Kind of middle of the Road.

Right now, Id rather have Mack over, Williams, Drew, Bullard, or Hamilton.

dreamshake.. You are thinking about another guy, mack doesnt do anything else besides shoot the 3. Even though he is great at it, i dont really care about mack, he has no defense and is not athletic.

Francis3...I am fully convinced that you talk about players that you have no gained knowledge about.

To say someone sucks, because you heard it from a friend, or can't buy his poster is absurd. Ive listened to you gripe childish like about several players. At least use some fact, or stats, or heck first hand knowledge (as to your opinon) to support your case.

I do know this now: I know you couldn't of watched many Rocket games last year where Mack was playing. The guy is fairly atheletic, has a wonderful shot, amd since you like to say it so often, name me the guy who torched him on the offensive end last year.

 

you really dont know what you are talking about. You act like Sam Mack is a player that knows how to do everything. If he is such a great player then how come he is just sitting his lazy ass at home not playing for a team.

WHY DO YOU THINK RUDY DOESNT WANT TO SIGN HIM? I think rudy knows why... Its the exact same thing im saying that rudy is probably thinking.

You can't tell me the Rockets don't need a shooter? Just looking at the Rockets 3 point shooting(aside from Matt Bullard) we really don't have any 3 point threat. Mack played very well for Vancouver last year and hit some good shots for the Rocks as well. He won't be getting big minutes, but would provide a quality shot off the bench...something the Rockets could really benefit from because he could help keep the opposing defense honest.

I'm not saying he's the answer to any of the Rockets problems, but I know the guy couldn't hurt the team. I have to agree that it is curious that no team has signed the guy. Sounds like he needs a new agent to me.

I think Macks agent convinced him it would be long term and big bucks, or nothing.

We see which one it is turning out to be, why work for a million or two when you can work for nothing and your agent keeps telling you it will workout.

Watch Matt Maloney get signed somewhere before Sam mack.

 

We really don't have a place for sam mack. Mack can play the sg or the sf position. We already got Mobley, Anderson, Williams, Bullard, Gray, and Drew(sometimes he plays sg). I still wouldn't mind having Mackdaddy back though. Just bench Air Bull or something.

Mack is pretty much like Walt Williams. He is fairly athletic, and much like Walt Williams, he uses his shot to create opportunities for himself. People have to respect Wizard's shot, so they must run at him when he is about to shoot. So, a simple head fake or something, can allow Wizard to drive and score on a layup. Williams is pretty decent penetrator, and so is Sam Mack. Mack can just fake, and then drive and break down the defense. I'd <strong>LOVE</strong> to have him in the game instead of Bullard. I really have nothing against Bullard; I think he's a nice guy with a nice shot. But he's a liability on defense, can't run, can't drive, and when his shot's off, he can't do anything.

As I have said many times before, Wizard is an upgraded Matt Bullard; it's the same case with Sam Mackdaddy. Both Wizard and Mackdaddy can sorta drive and they have good shots(although Sam's is more of a set shot like Bull's). And plus mackdaddy can run the floor better than Wizard can. So there, I have said it. Let's get Sam Mack.

But I don't know what the hell is wrong with him. His agent must have disillusioned Mack's mind. WE offered him a deal, but mack wanted a deal that was longer and lasted some more years. And obviously the other teams are offering him pretty much the same deal that we're offering him because he still hasn't signed with one. Why not just come join us? Having some contract is betta than NO contract. I bet he's outta shape

 

Rocketsfan34, no offense, but Williams is hitting a whopping 29.4% of his 3-pointers. I stand corrected about Drew who is hitting 45.2% of his 3's.

The point is they could use another shooter, which Mack is. He can handle his own on defense although he won't dominate his man. Oh, and he's a pretty good free throw shooter too....something this team desperately needs help with.
