Our bench is terrible, man, TERRIBLE. I can't believe JVG is just happy with Luther and Juwon coming off the bench for some minutes. THAT AINT GONNA WORK DURING THE PLAYOFFS. You see Sloan playing Millsap(A ROOKIE), Hapring, Giricek, Collins together for 78 Minutes and gave them 28 points 14 rebounds!!!! While our bench Juwon and Snyder 10 points4 rebounds in 40 Minutes... You can't beat a team in a 7 game series playing your starters to death and expect them to play at 100%!!!!

WE HAVE A GUY NAMED BONZI WHO IS OUR 3RD BEST SCORER!!! If we had him we could have saved some VALUABLE minutes for Yao to rest, and scoring while Juwon bricks.... You tell me that 18 points Utah bench had wasn't crucial in this tight game???

FREE BONZI!!!! No matter what personal problem he has, last time i checked the guy wants to play!

I completely agree. However, Bonzi doesn't want to be the "1/2" player and JVG isn't going to give him Head's minutes so I don't see any change in the future.

    This deserves another thread IMO.

IT IS SO PAINFULLY OBVIOUS WE NEED HIM TO COME OFF THE BENCH yet JVG refuses to let him play.

I'm a huge JVG supporter, but he doesn't give Bonzi minutes this week, He may cost us the Jazz series.

No hope in JVG he will never change until we hopefully chnage him next year. the problem with our bench is that when the starters are bad they are also bad and we nevr get any production out of the.

Snyder is not performing well. Bonzi might deserve a third chance.

yep... a player as talented as bonzi should not be rotting away on our bench while the team continues to choke away 4th quarter lead after 4th quarter lead.

    enough is enough.

I am interested in seeing Bonzi a couple of times with Yao and T-mac if he sucks then forget it. I have problems with players playing 2-3 games poorly then he goes down, only to reward him later on. He should have one more shot than thats it.

My question to you guys is: is it too late now?

I mean 9 games is not enough to get comfortable with playing a significant role. Don't get me wrong, I really want to see him back on the court, but I'm not confident that he'll be in shape and in rythm. The guy has only played in 26 games all year..

Ugh JVG frustrates me sometimes. Love his basketball philsophy, can't stand his stubborness.

Do you expect this team to atleast get out of the first round?

If you do, then I think it's panic time. We just blew another lead in the 4th to the team we match up with in the playoffs ON OUR home court, playing at our freaking pace, with Deron Williams, Boozer(their stars) having off days....

That has me worried a little.

I gotta agree, when no one in our bench can step up, we gotta free the bouncy whale.

I am just fustrated seeing every team developing new players every year. Look at Utah. They have developed several players in the last couple of years and are looking much better than us.
If you look at our roster, JVG has not developed any player and that concerns me as we move into the future.

Rockets players were having a off-day shooting, too. It's a 3 pt game, no indicaton that they won't get out of the first.

If anything, it confirms the fact that the teams are pretty evenly matched (if their records doesn't confirm it already).

Desperate times call for desperate measures. Seriously though JVG needs to get the bench to contribute more than 11 pts a night.

    Besides Head, of course.

But I really think JVG should've used Vspan as our backup PG instead of JLIII
