So my DSL contract with AT&T is up (used to be SBC Yahoo!, but not anymore), and they're now charging me $38 a month for the same service I was paying $19.99 for under the one-year contract. I asked them if I could re-up at the same rate, they said no and they have no specials. Any specials out there right now? I use home broadband service for basic things and I don't require anything that's 'superfast', a 768KB/s rate would meet or exceed most of my needs. I don't mind signing a contract as long as it's a good rate. Oh, I wouldn't mind going with cable either, but from what I understand cable rates are usually double or more that of DSL.
once you go cable, you never go back...even it's twice as much. i'm surprised though that they would not give you a deal. usually when you call to cancel, they'll offer you another contract for a discount.
LOL if that website didnt have DSL written on it...i would think its one of those chat hotline websites.
