Yao's not in = Heavier focus on T-Mac on offense = way too much work having T-Mac dominate the offense and guard Kobe at the same time.

Take Snyder out and bring Battier back in, imo...

8 ~ 2 run by the Lakers in 2Q.........and Kobe24 scored all of the Lakers points. (??) What is wrong with the Rockets' water-tight defense ??

Is Big Yao on the court yet??

WHEN mac attacks the rng, it's automatic 2 fl shots or a layup. he's gotta attack the damn rim.

Kobe's 18 points are the only reason the Lakers are in this, someone fax this to JVG or something, it seems his coaching decision-making process has gone off the wacker lately.

I mean, damn, the rest of the lineup out there has 0 points.

McGrady is just very inconsistent with his jumper. That's really the only edge Kobe has over him offensively: his ability to make jumpers consistently.

That's what separates them as offensive players at this stage of their careers. I think Kobe just has better mechanics on his jumper and shoots it with more ease, without having to labor too hard to get tons of elevation and then release it.

Why did he take Battier out in the first place though?

I'm seriously confused by the man now. I don't think he's ever rested Shane, so why start now?

Though, nice 3 by the Batman.

LOL! The Lakers' bigs can't guard Yao, they just hack him and put him at the line.

Let's see...86% shooter at the FT line...I will take my chances. ;)

Phil Jackson might have to go out there and guard Yao, they may have nobody left the way he's getting fouled

He usually pull Battier out at the 3 minute mark and replace him with Head.
