I was using Sopcast and RealPlayer at the same time, watching 2 NBA games simultaneously. I was adjusting the volume on each program and I was able to turn RealPlayer's volume down and listen only to Sopcast, but when I turned Sopcasts' volume down it also reduced the sound on RealPlayer.

All of a sudden as I was adjusting the volume on Sopcast the audio went out. I checked my PC settings and the audio settings on both programs. I've rebooted several times. My PC says the audio is working but still no sound, not even system sounds. No, my speakers aren't unplugged. The PC doesn't even beep (and I'm talking about the beep the PC makes with the speakers off) when I reboot.

Any ideas? I've already uninstalled Sopcast and that didn't fix it. I used the troubleshooting tutorial and nothing worked.

    Heeeeeeeeelp!

Maybe unplug your sound card and then put it back will help?

    Try installing the driver again.
