whoever is going to be in the suite with us, BETTER WEAR RED to help, im bringing all of my Red Rockets jerseys, have 2 Yao Throwbacks (95 throwback/80's throwback) 1 Yao Swingman 1 Tmac throwback (80's jersey) so yea... also, be on the lookout for a Clutchfans shoutout during halftime, they usually announce them right before the 3rd qtr begins, I want everybody else who isn't in the suite to shout cause we are sure as hell shouting in the suite

How about handing out red t-shirts with AT&T/Yahoo! on them for sponsorship... seeing as it's "Rockets Red Glare" presented by AT&T/Yahoo! high speed internet. Obviously AT&T/Yahoo! is sponsoring the event and wants to use the event to get their name out/advertise, no better way to do so than printing out a few thousand red shirts with a rockets logo and their logos and handing them out to the crowd. T-shirts like that get worn out of the stadium later on and improve brand opinion. Sorry, Advertising major here.

they have the reebok swingmans at the reebok outlet in Katy Mills for $30, bought one last weekend, they had plenty.

Honestly I rather see the arena with every seat filled. We already see enough red with the empty seats the cooperate smucks leave.
the people in the lower bowl in the middle can't even get to their seats until the second quarter. what makes the rockets think they're going to actually get some red on? i like the idea though, hopefully it works real well and continues in the playoffs.
Why is everyone ruling out the very rational possibility of them SELLING red shirts? For lots of people, it will slip their mind so they'll want one. Lots of people won't know, so they'll want one. If you didn't care to wear ANY red and expected to have a red jersey/shirt handed to you at the game then tough luck. Make sure you guys spread the word. The front office has done a great job taking YOUR idea and implementing it super-fast. This might be a pre-test for the same promotion throughout the playoffs.
I'm wondering what color jersey the Rockets will be wearing in the game. Certainly they can wear the road jersey which is red. It just doesn't look right if they still wear the home jersey in white while the fans wear red. I suggest the Rockets wear the old championship year's red jersey. It brought good luck and more wins in the 04-05 years if my memory is correct. Why not this time?
