The Celtics reportedly have offered the pick (11th) to Vancouver for 6-foot-9-inch forward Othella Harrington. Since the Celtics would have to contribute a salary to match in the deal, Calbert Cheaney likely would depart Boston. (Boston Globe)

I like Othella, but I didn't think he was worth a lottery pick! Hopefully Othella will end up in the States.

Othella wouldn't be bad for Boston. I'd make the deal.

Good deal for Vancouver, and Othella will probably log good minutes in Boston. Now, where will Fortson go? Heypartner would be interested in this scenario.

    YOO HOO, Heypartner?!?!

It would be a great deal for Vancouver. Getting rid of someone who doesn't want to be there for better than market value.

The Gizzards also know they can get Swift or Martin--talk about your sandbaggers/tankers--to immediately improve their PF position, and now would get to add another decent player (potential long range center prospect or depth anywhere) with the 11th pick (e.g., O.O., Moiso, Tsk., Miller).

Boston is curious, they were going to give away Forston for free last year but will give up there best pick for Othella. I don't see how this trade off helps them much, both players have some tools but plenty of weaknesses as starters.

TheFreak, I had thought of that too. But until Othella actually fetches that kind of pick (who you take him over OO, Moiso or perhaps even E. Thomas?), I am still a bit of a disbeliever.

I don't see any way Harrington is worth that much. Calbert Cheaney would make their rotation as well. I remember back when Sky Pilot posted that the #9 for Harrington would be a fair deal. Doesn't look so far off now, does it? I still don't think he's worth it though.

Looks like nobody wants Moiso. He sounded good on paper, but there must be something about him that teams just don't want. Talk about athleticism at the 4 though if the Grizzlies make the deal.
