In AD 2311, Rockets will draft a 7'9 player that has the speed and hops of Hakeem, the court vision of Nash, the strength of Shaq, the touch of Dirk, the fundamentals of Duncan, and the competitive fire of Jordan. This guy will break each and every record, record a quintuple double, and dunk from mid-court and so dominate all competition that he'll not only be known as the greatest Rocket of all time, and not even just the greatest hoops player of all time, but the greatest competitor in any sport for all time.

I'm not disagreeing with you but neither Yao nor Hakeem scored 13 points in 33 seconds to beat one of the better teams in the league.

It's hard to compare a superstar G/F against two dominant Centers...granted, Yao has just recently started to CONSISTANTLY put up big numbers on a night to night basis and Hakeem did it for years...I beleive if Yao stays healthy he could bring Houston more championships than The Dream did...and not to take anything away from what he did, but one of the main reasons we got those championships was because MJ was off trying to play baseball...

And this is were you lost credibility. it is anoying to hear fans of other team say this, but to hear rockets fans say this is even worse.

The most anoying this is that Jordan was back in 1995, but he just wasn't good enough to get to the finals.

The Rockets won in 93-94 and 94-95. Jordan did come back at the end of the 94-95 season and played in like 17 games and then lost in the playoffs. Had MJ been with the team the whole year, it would have been a totally different story. The following year the Bulls went 72-10, and were arguably one of the greatest teams ever. You want to talk credibility...can't you recognize one of the greatest players that has ever played?

Jordan was amazing. however Hakeem was also. We won those championships because we were the best team. in 1995 Jordan played in the play-offs, and he lost to the Magic, the same team we SWEEPED in the finals. Saying the rockets only won because Jordan was Playing baseball is just a guess from you, and i think it is a strange stance(for a rocket fan). Nobody knows who would have won if Jordan did continue to play. But that amazing Bulls team couldn't beat the Magic. We could.

The poll is not very meaningful. But I really wanted it to be Yao or TMac, simply because that would mean that the Yao-Mac Rockets are going to win at least 2 or more championships.
