    I stay with the principles of the foreigner's dresscode.shaggy long hair,dress shirts with 2-3 buttons opened,and 1 o'clock shadow beard(optional).

here is Nash being loyal to the dresscode :p :

During the summer: t-shirt, cargo shorts, flip-flops
During other times: Old Navy jeans (I will never pay more than $30 for a pair of jeans), t-shirt, Pumas, Steve Maddens or Addidas Rockets (only on game days). If we're going out, I'll put on an Old Navy button up or something.

This style goes for both moestavern and I: t-shirt and either jeans or basketball shorts.

Well, at work, slacks and polo, although I've been feeling the need to were teh pinpoint oxford button down as I'm usually the only guy taking casual to the most casualist level...:)

On weekends, if I'm out, since I'm in dallas, a striped long sleeve button up shirt, untucked of course...oh wait...jeans/shorts, t-shirt/polo (depending if on a date) and flip flops/dress shoes (depending if on a date)...

I have to admit I can't believe so many people have voted for suit & tie. I wear a suit & tie to church, but that's definitely it.

I find myself migrating over to the khaki and polo/button-down realm.

flip-flops, topsiders, driving mocs, tennis shoes
    fleece/fleece vest when neccessary

slacks, sports coats/blazer, dress shirts, nice shoes, suits when the occassion calls for it.

overall, pretty preppy.... a lot of days i look like i stepped out of a vineyard vines catalog.

At work, when I go to the office (one day a week) I dress conservative: black jacket and slacks, a dark colored shirt and leather shoes. I also comb my hair down, and it looks downright Victorian. I have to hang out with diamond dealers and get them to tell me things they shouldn't. I have to look respectable.

The rest of the week, I don't shave. I wear Brazillian flip flops and cheap clothes I bought from Bedouin in Egypt: draw string arab shorts and cheap thin cotton shirts without buttons. At this point my hair starts getting rockabilly on its own, because I hate combing and washing it. I spend most of my life in my tiny apartment or in bars late at night, where the lights are low. But I'm a blond and blue eyed Texan in Israel, so the way I'm dressed is the last thing anyone notices.

At work, I am the only one who never wears a tie. I tried it when I first started, and realized that it made me too uptight having the top button buttoned and having a tie that tight.

Thus I only wear a jacket with a dress shirt underneath it and regular slacks. The first time I didn't wear a tie, I was kind of scared, but then the boss started calling me The Rebel.
Now he doesn't wear a tie on days he doesn't have to meet with clients.

For personal wear, I used to wear a jacket most places I went with a t-shirt underneath along with jeans. I stopped doing that about a year ago, now I just where a t-shirt and jeans or a t-shirt and slacks. Alot of times I sport a hipster hat as well when I don't want to comb my hair.

Work = khakis and short sleeved golf/polo shirts

Home = Shorts if it's hot, jeans if it's cold and t-shirts

Does anyone here wear shorts with black tennis shoes? I had a little spat with the woman this weekend as to whether this is acceptable dress or not...

    Other (please explain)

    Explanation:

I wear all of that stuff at different times...

Mostly stay casual... by casual I mean jeans and a t-shirt with maybe a button-up or polo over it...

Suits and ties... church, and church functions... but not all church functions... I like to show up among peers dressed like a youth pastor. :D

Once a youth pastor, always a youth pastor at heart.

btw- I think that "douchebag" picture kid has been in every one of the churches I've ever been a part of. ;)

I prefer to go naked or dressed in a simple loincloth made of cured animal hides. On those occasions that require more coverage, a silver jumpsuit with the V-neck and silver boots.

l wear all of those at various occasions, but I suppose I have those I wear more often than not:

    To work:
    Cargos
    T-shirt
    Polo shirt
    Tennis shoes (Asics, usually)

    Hanging out:
    Jeans
    Shorts
    T-shirt

I'd rather be in jeans or shorts than anything, and go to places that allow me to dress that way. Unless its the opera, ballet, or symphony. Then I'll throw on a suit and tie.

My hair is long, for whatever that's worth. Its about to the middle of my back and its usually in a pony tail.

    I wear a full-body catsuit wherever I go.
