if he makes the last 2, which is likely, it would've been a 1 point game and they'd get another chance to tie after our ft's. luckily, we didn't have to find out what would happen.

    This was a good win.

Showed that our team is 'getting deeper'.

We had zero points from both Luther and Juwan, and only 4 from Shane (of course 3 pts from a very clutch three - giving credit where its due).

But we still found a way to win.

So..good job guys. I feel confident about beating Utah no matter what the conditions are now.

Luckily, the refs made the right call.

Watch the replay of that shot.

I'm not talking about where is feet are. Look at exactly when the foul takes place, look at his body, and look at the control he has on the ball.

I dont think so. We are just plain lucky here. The dumb refs make a bad call, they might feel guilty for missing so many calls on Yao, and try to make it even. Rafer has lose the defense position and made a horrible foul. This reminds me another foul he make at clutch time in a previous game, and we lose. I hope he wont do dumb fouls again.

rafer shot 4/13 and 1/8 from the 3 point line.

he has to take the open shots right?

that was a tossup...Rafer reached in to commit what looked like an intentional foul and Cat instinctively made the motion to shoot when he heard the whistle...the offensive player gets that continuation call alot of times...again we got lucky it was only 2...

That was a good quality win. Now it is time for some payback against the Lakers for that overtime loss.

See this is what bugs me about Rafer, he does not HAVE to shoot it, he could choose to drive it in...and get the defense rotating and set someone else up...if his shot is not falling.

There is no secret why Lucas looked so good tonight, he hit one 3 but drove into the lane which caused confusion on the Clips D.

This is from Fran Blinebury's live blog for the Houston Chronicle. I hate that guy!

    Are you complaining now?

For everybody who whines that the Rockets never get a call, Cuttino was behind the line on that heave. See, sometimes the conspiracy is against the other guys.

Yes, I know he missed the shot. Just pointing it out.

I would've replied to him, but you never win on his blog. Anyway, what I wanted to say was, WOW , the Rockets FINALLY get a call. Finally. And it doesn't even matter because Cat missed the FT. And then Fran tries to call us whiners because we get one call compared to the hundreds of calls we didn't get throughout the season.

Here are some of my thoughts on the role players:

    1) Rafer played much better than Luther. Anybody who blamed Rafer on this game should blame more on Luther. Rafer is great ball-handler and we need to know he contributed in other aspects besides scoring. We need to give him more positive comments.

    2) I'm very disappointed in Luther's play in the game. It looked he completely disappeared. In recent games, he couldn't handle the pressure, made inmature decisions late in the clock, made some bonehead shots, his layups were often blocked or missed. The more serious problem is he has never played in the playoffs before. I don't think we can fully trust Luther in the playoff being the PG. I suggest JVG Play JL3 a little bit more since he has given up on VSpan. Let Luther be the natural SG so he may be able to make some cluth shots for us.

    3) Juwon must have been bothered by his knee injury so I wouldn't worry about he performance this game. His shot will be back in Lakers game.

I watched the replay a dozen times, and it looked like Cat was behind the arc. Oh well, he missed his FT anyway, so it doesn't matter. Next victim: Lakers.
