    Who are these guys kidding? One of the Deputy Ministers for the Taliban just described their forces as The Army of the Islamic Emirate?

    Isn't that laughable?

    Why is it laughable? Afghanistan's official name is Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan

    it just means islamic state


    it dosnt specify which islamic state.

    now if it were something like the army of the islamic world..

    Yeah, thanks. I thought they were just being grandiose in claiming all Arab nations into their camp.

    It's still pretty ridiculous, since many of the Taliban aren't even Afghanis... Maybe that's why they didn't call it the Army of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan?

    It doesn't exactly represent Afghanistan. Or really defend it.
