How chilling was that? "Americans will never feel secure until we feel security, ourselves." We cannot back down from this man. He will never feel secure...he's a freaking dead man walking. Can you imagine being the family member of a victim of the WTC attack and seeing this joker this morning on your television in your own living room speaking directly to you?
The funny thing is I didn't feel chilled at all. As soon as he made that statement, and I listened to it, all I thought was "he signed his death certificate." If he is a still alive, he just practically admitted to the bombings claiming it was "god's will". The funny thing is, him claiming we'll never feel secure until he feels secure. He'll feel secure when a bomb is dropped on him, or they put a bullet in his crew. The U.S. is literally going THROUGH Afhganistan to get to him, they are going through his friends to get to him. His days are numbered.
I would put a bullet in Bin Laden's head personally if I had the chance. I hate how he tried to make the war sound like it is on Islam and not on terror. He has no f*cking balls. That's why all the Muslim countries are supporting the U.S. That's why Pakistan closed it borders. I'm glad the British Prime Minister is being very high profile. It's great to see how the U.S. is getting worldwide support. I'll be very satisfied to see the red beam on Bin Laden's head.
Then they are mistaken. There is a difference between being a puppet and a friend. Pakistan is a puppet. The Taliban is Osama bin Laden's puppet. Britain is a friend. If you get into a fight, and a friend saves you countless times, do you consider them a puppet, or a friend? That's why I don't understand why people consider the UK a puppet.
Achebe: Who is saying that the UK is a US puppet? and why? Weren't there quite a few Brits killed in these terroristic murders? Wasn't one of the key "trainers" based in the UK?
That's right Rich. The most people killed in the WTC bombing was Americans. The 2nd most were people from the UK. Obviously they had to be in on it, how would their people feel knowing that the U.S. is going in fighting on of their battles.
I'm sure you meant Afghanistan? Pakistan doesn't seem like anybody's puppet. Incidentally, in some political science circles, Great Britain is known as the 52nd state (Canada being the 51st) !
I would just like to say that Osama is freakin nutcase. I am a Muslim and I would personally love to put a bullet in him and his ****ing Queda network. Just because Israel might be killing Muslims it does not give these extremists the right to kill innocent Americans. Islam in no way permits killing of innocents to make some kind of a political point. This guy needs to be killed as soon as possible.
Ooops, you're right haven! Incidentally, in some political science circles, Great Britain is known as the 52nd state (Canada being the 51st) ! LOL!
I didn't see the bin Laden video, so I can't comment (what is there to really comment, right?). I've been watching CNN and they said that this was most likely a pre-recorded message ready to be run. Apparently a clue is that the broadcast appears to be recorded in daylight (is that true?) whereas it's currently nighttime there now.
That's right Doc, not only did it look like high noon, but it appeared that the sun was beating down. It was clearly daytime.
It was daytime. He also really did not mention the Twin Towers specifically. He mentioned "American Landmark". He also mentioned the bombings in Africa and USS Cole. All of this probably means it was prerecorded like CNN stated.
Moe: Oho, an English boy, huh? You know, we saved your ass in World War II. Hugh: Yeah, well, we saved _your_ arse in World War III. Moe: [conciliatory] That's true.
