Not sure how many of you guys remember NiGHTS, but this seems pretty cool to me (if true). I think this was one of the reasons why I wanted a Saturn when I was a kid...not that the reasons I wanted any system were all that great at that age, but still.

I've never even heard of NiGHTS before. What sort of game is it?

Cool! I don't own a Wii, or any new generation system yet, but this is very cool news! NiGHTS was one of the best games on the Saturn, and one of only two that would make me consider buying the console at the time. The other was some mech game that had also been found in the arcade. I have no idea what it was but it was fun!

Anyways, for those that have the Wii, grats! Wouldn't mind it going multi-platform though ;)

My memory is a little sketchy on the exact details, so here are some gameplay videos via youtube:

All I remember was that it was cool...I think.

Never played it, but I remember it. Seems like a perfect style of game for the Wii.

Hard to imagine why in almost two generations Sega NEVER ported that game.

This is Sega we're talking about. I don't bother questioning their decisions anymore.

definitely cool rumor imo. I don't even think I'd like the game, but the more saturn games ported over the better.

Bonk's adventure was one of the first games available on the Wii virtual console.

... or are you looking for a remake?

Nights on the Saturn was awesome, it was more or less a flight simulator for those who didn't play it back in the day.

They're working on online play too I believe. Sega will probably start talking more about this in April.
