T-mac actually had to catch an early flight to L.A. for something that his agent had set up.

i have always maintained that Kirk should be the backup PG over Luther/JLIII/VSpan. of course, the offense should still run through T-Mac, but i don't see why Kirk can't handle the other PG duties.

you've got to be kidding me. kirk cannot handle that role. if u mean by just bringin the ball up, fine. but not be a PG. there's a reason why JVG yells at him a lot - he messes up the same assignments constantly according to feign.

I think the problem could be that Kirk does not have very high basketball IQ. Furthermore, he is not a PG specialist (unlike Chris Paul and Deron Williams), and cannot compensate with experience (having only 3 seasons in the NBA).

T-mac is a great defender for guys who dont have much speed. and hes a great post up defender. But as far as stopping someone like Kobe i dont see that happening hes far too quick. Theres nothing wrong with that either Kobe is a smaller player.

what? charlie bell isn't quick? mason isn't quick? vince carter isn't quick? rjeff isn't quick? paul pierce isn't quick? stack and josh howard aren't quick?

you're talking about kobe. who the hell stops kobe? no one. just like no one can stop tmac. kobe needs as much team help to stop tmac as tmac needs to stop kobe. i remember 2 yrs ago when tmac guarded kobe primairly in LA b/c wesley was short and held kobe to 5-19 shooting. but that wasn't tmac primarily, it was the team defense moreso.
