That's why you NEVER leave a game early.

Those announcers crack me up, I've watched that thing like 6 times now :)

Why in the world did G Karl call a timeout?

Karl thought Detroit would foul Denver so he called timeout and arranged the his best FT shooter in that game, aka Camby (8/8 FT) to receive the ball in case Pistons foul Nuggets. The problem was Camby was not the a good ball handler, and this led to the fatal steal. Karl should let AI to receive the ball, rather than Camby. But he thought AI's FT in that game was too bad (5/9 FT). LOL

Similar to Billups' shot in the playoffs 2 or 3 years ago.

One of the most fluky plays in NBA history, because the Nuggets were inbounding the ball.

I bet Nuggets' fans loved that one. If I was a fan of a team who was on a losing streak and was up 3 with 1.5 to go against the best from the opposing conference and YOU HAD POSSESSION of the ball and ended up losing in overtime because of that...

I'd be so freaking pissed. I'd probably start a trade thread. :D

George Karl can't coach, fire him, Camby can't catch, trade him, etc.

the announcers scream right as it goes in reminds me of bill and calvin when clyde banked that one in at the buzzer from about 35. funny enough, i'm pretty sure that was also against denver.

hard to think of a more brutal way to lose a game. even in a normal situation having the pass deflected wouldn't be that bad b/c time would just run out, but it happens to bounce right to rasheed who gets it off with 0.2 left and he makes it. crazy.

I still like Wade's block and buzzer beater better.

Nothing against Sheed, of course, his was was pretty nice.. except he had the ball handed to him with flowers and everything.

nothing beats the pistons nets game in the play offs a few years back. billups to send it to OT, then players like scalabrine stepped up and hit shot after shot. one of the greatest games i've ever seen.

Too bad this wasn't the final sequence of an NBA finals Game 7.

We weren't on a losing streak. We won our last game at Cleveland. This would have put us at 3-2 on the road trip though, which would have been nice. At least we're finding new ways to lose. That's nice. Variety is the spice of life.

The Nuggets also lost on that last second tip-in by Thomas in Chicago last week. But this is all for the best since they'll get Phoenix in Round 1 instead of San Antonio. Unless of course they keep losing and fall back of the Clippers.

Man i really feel for you. Last year the rockets were a huge disapointment(mostly by injuries).

But the nuggets are a teaam with big expectations before every season, and everytime it is a disapointment, I have respect for how you handle it. And even tough Elson doesn't play for you guys anymore i will continue to root for the nuggets(unless they play the rockets ofcourse). Good luck.

That was nice...of course, that is a killer 3, but just deflated the Nugs afterwards...

Wade's play was amazing, but it happened at halftime. Rasheed's shot should at least get points for context. It tied the game and sent it into overtime, when the Pistons won.

No kidding. As soon as that went in, I knew it was game over. My favorite part was Hastings and Marlowe (our announcers) saying stuff like "well, Detroit is going to be emotionally drained after that. There's no way they can win."

Good God I wish the Nugs didn't have the equivilent of Fox News for their games. Up until about 2 years ago, I really liked Hastings. Now, EVERYTHING is a foul on the Nugs, and every call against us is a bad one. I used to be able to somewhat argue against Kelly Dwyer when he complained about Hastings. Now I just wish I would have let him go. KD's a visionary, he's ahead of our time, and he cheers for the greatest team ever (that last one is for you TrueHoopers). And Marlowe, well, he's best not discussed. For crying out loud, they wouldn't even DISCUSS the AI trade until it was official. "Gee, the team looks a little distracted tonight. Must be the flight." OR THE FACT THAT HALF OF THE TEAM DOESN'T KNOW IF THEY'RE GOING TO BE TRADED.

Wow, that was a little bit of a tangent.

Oh, and bring on Phoenix in the first round. If we're going to lose (and we are), I want to at least be entertained. Phoenix will provide that. Plus, I can't handle watching Dallas games with their jackass owner and fans, a whole series might put me in the hospital (naturally, my friends are praying for the Den-Dal matchup).
