If we were in the East could we actually win the NBA championship this year?

 

I am not sure about that but I am willing to bet that we would win the Eastern conference finals en route to the NBA finals series. I do not see any team in the East that could take [match-up] us in 7 games.

 

In the East we could probably make it to the ECF comfortably. Making it to the finals is a bit trickier. Even if we did make it, you still have to beat the best from the west.

So no.

 

Yeah, you have to beat the best in the West but you have to do it AFTER they beat the hell out of each other through three rounds while we would easily coast to the Finals in the East. The only team worth a damn in that whole conference is the Pistons. I really think that had a whole lot to do with why Miami was able to beat Dallas last year.

 

we would easily make it considering we are 24-6 against the east. And the only teams in the east are a young cavs, washed up heat, and detroit(detroit is good but we are better).

 

Though we won against Detroit couple of games ago in regular season I think they would put up a dog fight with us or any other team in finals!

 

Yeah, if we played in the East, we would beat everyone within 5 games and have more rest, therefore Tracy and Yao will play better and we win the Championship.
