I like snyder, Good luck. Btw when u say u like snyder's dunks don't forget to mention his teammates' work to make him open to dunk. It doesn't sound fair for his teammates. If u see most of his dunks involve the hard work of other players.

Snyder is only 23? I thought he was much older than that

Bonzi should be getting his minutes. He'll help our team more. Snyder will still be around next year, bonzi will not.

U'll never know. But if bonzi is gonna be traded for a player of his level but at a different position, i'd be happy. Cuz we have to many shooting guards at the moment.

Bonzi is a free-agent this summer ...so he can't be traded. He was simply a cheap rental for one season.

If you count the games he played, the price we paid is not cheap. Especially he is not going to play playoff, what a waste! ( not on his talent but our money. ;) )

bonzi has a player option this summer, so he can choose to be a free agent which he most likely will given his bumpy stay here on the rockets. not sure how much he will command on the free agent market since its probably even more so documented now his hard-headedness.

but back to kirk. snyder is the rocket i root hardest for to do well (outside of the big 2) he has the size and strength to be and become a good defender and he attacks the rim with utter disregard. he is an average shooter but will only take shots when he is wide open or forced to (shot clock) otherwise he is cutting to the rim, putting back shots, running the fast break and rebounding well. I look at kirk and see our next bob sura. A tough nosed guy who the team will rally around. (note he and bobby have their strengths and weaknesses) At this point bonzi is the more polished post player but that is about it. Kirk's post game isnt as refined but it is very effective as well. kirk is the better shooter of the two and better slasher. their rebounding is about the same, kirk has better athleticism when it comes to the boards, bonzi better timing.

hopefully he can help the rockets make a difference tonight against his former team

this story makes you wonder how bad bonzi really is. obviously, this story shows JVG is willing to give players multiple chances if they fall in line with the team mentality. snyder certainly has some knucklehead in him, but van gundy is getting him to realize it and change...unlike uber-knucklehead bonzi.

Yeah, that reminds me- the other night Snyder had missed a 3, and the camera went to JVG. I could barely hear him and lip read him saying "that's not your shot, your a jump shooter!"

Don't blame bonzi for wasting the rockets money, blame jvg. Bonzi wants to play, but coach doesn't like him.

Bonzi does not want to play. If he wanted to play, he would have gotten in some reasonable shape quickly instead of being the ****** that he is all year.

Agreed- a professional baller comes to camp in shape and ready to play.

I like Kirk and I have always liked him. I still think he will be a 'diamond in the rough' type of acquisition for us similar to Chuck Hayes.

The key for him is this: he has to keep his emotions in check and accept constructive criticism, but the coaching staff and his teammates have to be willing to work with him on a personal level and have some patience with him.

But I like the kid, just like I was big on Chuck before the season started, I believe in him.

Hopefully he won't be moved in the off season for some garbage, I think we need to be a little more patient with these youngsters.

Bonzi was in shape. JVG already admitted him not playing was more than just a weight issue. It kept him out due to a personal feud.

Bonzi was NOT in shape. You have a very selective memory. He looked like Glen "Big Fatty" Davis his first couple of games. It was a joke. You are so hopelessly in love with Bonzi it's a joke.

I'm just in love with winning and bottom line is Bonzi helps us winning more than snyder. If bonzi doesn't play in the playoffs and we got out early, it's all on JVG.

You prove my point. It's on Bonzi, not JVG. If Bonzi were in shape and had produced on the court, he would still be playing. The 20-25 game experiment failed because he didn't measure up. Since he is gone, we are doing just fine. If he gets his act together, maybe he comes back.
