Lidge...Wandy only stinks up one game in five.

Someone explaining how Lidge saved MOST of his save opportunities (even though any Major Leaguer could get 3 outs before giving up a run 80% of the time) coming in 5....4....3...

    Gotta agree with Major Mal.

Lidge is in at the game's most critical stage and doesn't pitch just once every five days.
That said,I have zero confidence in Wandy where they have him slotted.I don't even believe he should be in the rotation.

They both suck. Wandy has always been terrible and Pujols ended Lidge's career.

Lidge losing it has destroyed the team's morale and confidence....you could just see the whole team holding their breath when he took the mound last year.

I am WAY in favor of moving him.

Lidge, because Wandy is not expected to be good, while Lidge is.

Wandy only pitches every 5th game and he'll win about half. Lidge pitches a few times a week and could loose a ton of games that have already been won.

Lidge gets it done way more than 1/2 the time. Plus, Lidge gets absolutly no run support whereas Wandy gets more than any other Astro pitcher. Based on those flipped and obscure reasons, Wandy scares me way more! :(

Seriously, Wandy shouldn't even be above AA ball. Lidge has at least been a proven All-Star. So, i'll still go with Wandy as the best Halloween costume to scare people. All last year, i made sure not to buy tickets to any game when Wandy was pitching. He loads em up just like Lidge, except every inning and against the worst hitters.

At least Lidge usually only blows up against really good players. Plus, i think we could still move Lidge back to the set up role, but Wandy couldn't even pitch anywhere in the bullpen. It's pathetic.

Well sometimes he might get 1, i can't recall 2 runs off the top of my head, but that's very rare. And if he does get enough runs, he never gets the darn save! Plus it can only happen on the road. Once again, giving Wandy a clear run support average! :)
