    Since getting married, I bring my lunch to work. For the longest time, I would eat either leftovers or a ham and cheese sandwich. But yesterday, I actually ate a peanut butter and honey sandwich. It was pretty good - this is what I used to eat all the time when I was going through school (elementary, junior high, and high school).

    So I got to thinking..other than jelly (the obvious one), honey, and bananas, what are some other foods that can be combined with peanut butter in making sandwiches?

    I don't like peanut butter. I never eat it. Love dry roasted peanuts, though. Yeah, I'm a weirdo. :D

    Elvis was right: Peanut Butter 'n Banana is awesome. I also like Peanut Butter and Apple, and Peanut Butter and Molasses (just a little).

    There's a cold Chinese noodle dish using peanuts. The way my family made it and is using cold spaghetti noodles and then making a sauce of peanut butter, sesame oil and chili paste. The sauce and the noodles were mixed with the noodles and julienned cucumbers. To western pallettes it might sound weird but is pretty good in the summer.

    Another unusual peanut butter combination that is peanut butter and vanilla ice cream. It helps to heat up the peanut butter in the microwave so it flows over the ice cream.

    sishir, it's on almost every chinese take out menu i've ever seen. it's called cold sesame noodles. and i agree, it's good

    Peanutbutter and Lebanon Bologna.

    (also good to just put the peanutbutter right on the Bologna and roll it up).

    Yesterday I went home for lunch and then realized I didn't have crap to eat there. I ended up making little peanut butter and jelly sandwiches made with saltine crackers instead of bread. It wasn't bad actually.

    I made a Peanut Butter and Salomi,Ham,Turkey Sandwhich and it was surprisingly good. I think if you love the taste of PB, it'll go good with almost anything.

    I won't eat peanut better and jelly. It's too damn sweet.

    Peanut butter and mayonaisse is damn good, however.

    (don't knock it until you try it.)

    The clean up is a beyatch and don't use the chunky kind. Those peanut bits can get stuck in some uncomfortable spaces. :p
