our back court worries me a lot. Head and Alston are going to be ou weak link.

i second that. his ability to finish above the rim is a refreshing sight. that baseline dunk was real nice. also had a nice shot from outside.

if he can play smart, i don't see why he couldn't be a good option off the bench.

he is definitely part of the rockets future

I hate Blinebury, too. I don't see how he hasn't gotten fired yet. He knows absolutely nothing about sports. Not to mention, his sarcasm is not even funny, and he overdoes it all the time. He makes JVG look like the eternal optimist.

he was talking to darrell armstrong, his former teammate in orlando. his expression looked weird but i doubt he was mad.

Ugly win. Yao Ming is a turnover machine. 32/14 is nice. But he should protect the ball better. We can't afford to let him give up the ball 6 times in a playoff game.

most of the time when i saw yao lose the ball was when he was about to put the ball on the floor or when he had put the ball on the floor. There was one time near the end of the game where the camera was on JVG yao I think had just lost the ball. JVG was yelling at yao to just face up and shoot. I think thats exactly what yao needs to do. The only time he hsould be puttin the ball on the floor is when he has absolute clear space. Other then that he should just face up and shoot. That could be the difference between 6 TO's or 4-6 extra shots by yao

I think JVG was right that Yao should face up shoot it. Dont bring the ball down, be cute and trying to get close, because Indy's defense has 2nd man eyeing Yao all the time to strip, and Yao is not that quick. Yao needs to be smart with the ball. A night like this, rely on your face up jumper more, which is pretty high percentage as well.

Yao trying to spin pass JO is none sense. It's like JO trying to challenge Yao with sky hook. Face shoot it when the guy give up about 7 inch in height.

Yao has done a good job today

Just noticed that Stoudemire just got 4 points but 3 TOs in 21 mins because of foul trouble. Compared to that, Yao really did a good job tonight.
Actually Yao's has improved his TO problem according to his 3.7/game TOs in recently 9 games compared to 3.81/game before injury.

Why do you use another player's performance to defend Yao? The consensus (at least on this board) is that he's the best center in the league. So he is supposed to be better than Stoudemire and therefore I don't care Stoudemire scored 0 pts and 0 rebounds. Yao should protect the ball and stop turning it over. Is it too much to ask from the 'most dominating center' in the league?

Can you imagine JVG yelling the same thing to Hakeem where the whole arena can hear? Hakeem would roll his eyes and give JVG a STFU look. I bet JVG would never yell at TMac across the court telling him how to play his game....

Thank you - I was very pleased with Synder's cutting and quick moves. We need him and I am proud of his play.

I'm just glad we have the luxury to be picky about the quality of wins we're getting now. In the past, on certain games, we would simply be grateful to get a win at all. Now we're criticizing wins because they're not pretty enough. Do you honestly think Pacer fans would have cared how ugly the game was tonight had they won? Think about it.

yao did well in second half as he got 1 TO only, compared to 5 TOs in first half

    otherwise,yao would have had a triple-double:32pts,14rebs,10TOs

Some of you guys are idiots plain and simple. We can't afford TMac to be 7-21 in a playoff game. We can't afford Rafer and Luther to go 2-17 in playoff game either. Try thinking before you write next time.

^Agreed...Besides the win, there were some great plays but at least with this win, its one step closer...TO's, yes, but c'mon Yao is still a beast and is only going to continue to get better the more he plays...

I was just glad to see it on TNTHD...That being said, its still sucks to see the empty seats...
