    Tuesday, March 20, 7:00am - 2:00pm

    The Houston Rockets, in partnership with Memorial Hermann and Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center, are encouraging fans to Commit for Life at the Houston Rockets Blood Drive on Tuesday, March 20, before the Rockets take on the Indiana Pacers, at Toyota Center.

    More than 800 blood donations are needed every day to help save lives in the Houston area. There is no replacement for blood and it is a life-saving, essential element. By donating you could help save up to three lives, simply with one blood donation.

    All fans who attempt to donate blood will receive a free t-shirt and a ticket voucher for an upcoming Rockets game, including the game that night.

    To help maintain a strong blood supply, Commit for Life with the Houston Rockets on Tuesday, March 20. For additional information or to schedule your donation, call 1(888) 482-5663, or visit giveblood.org.

    That's a really good idea to get more people to donate blood!

    Sigh, I really wish I lived in Houston sometimes. Yall have great opportunities to go to the games for really cheap or free (I would have definately tried out to be a Rowdy!)

    I gave blood 2 weeks ago and I recieved vouchers for 2 tickets to a spurs game,
    gave them away to my spurs fan friend.

    When the Rockets giveaway tickets like this, how crappy are the seats? I mean, are they decent, or are they the worst in the house?

    Hey you could always go and try to give blood. Look what the article says: All fans who attempt to donate blood will receive a free t-shirt and a ticket voucher for an upcoming Rockets game, including the game that night.
    you could always attempt and maybe they'll give you the tix anyways.

    I'm scared of giving blood.. hence I've never done it before.

    Does it hurt? I'm 5'7ish and 120... I'm probably gonna pass out close to immediately

    I am about the same size and I've given blood before. I had no problems afterwards, go for it!

    I think you may be reading that wrong...I don't think you get tickets to two games - you get 1 ticket voucher that you can use at any game including the game that night. So if you chose to use your voucher immediatley you can..NOT you get 1 free ticket voucher PLUS a ticket to the Pacers game.

    i'm pretty sure you only get tickets to one game

    it says you get voucher for tickets to a future game, including that night's game --meaning you can pick that night's game. not meaning you get 2 tickets to 2 games.
