What do you guys think? I think he is playing better, if he ever gets the 3's to fall he will be a good guy off the bench against teams like the Suns who are fast and are willing to leave guys open to triple Yao. His shot selection needs work but it is clear from JVG that he wants him to score when he is in there so can't blame him for taking his shots.

LOL at that picture with him standing right next to YAO. Why do they always put short people with tall people in pictures

And i wonder if he is going to get chants "LUCAS LUCAS" like Novak did in Milwakee. And JVG will ruin his homecoming :)

My thoughts were before I even read the article that he is too short and he has to be a lights out shooter to compensate, the article said the same thing. His poor shooting compared to his summer league stats is because Lucas like a lot of players needs minutes to get in an offensive groove and he is not going to get them here. He is a third string PG at best.

I think he is hesitant sometimes because he knows he's not the first option. He has to find a balance between passing and shooting. I think he has more potential than VSPAN though in the Rockets offense.

Height will always hurt him especially when he trys to play defense. But who knows what's gonna happen. Young players need time.

He needs to develop into a Early Boykins type of player....not really a PG but a very small scoring guard...ala Calvin Murphy.

Agreed- find a niche. I pose the question:

Why does JLIII get playing time to nurture his development and V-Span get s no playing time?

IMHO JLIII should be on the Austin Toros....

Because JL3 is 4 months younger than VSpan, therefore has more potential.
