no you still don't get it. To hope for someone's misfortune is not cool. of course i was taken aback by seeing these pictures, but wow, full blown malice towards one's family is really uncalled for.

of course you are the same guy who posted this in another thread:
Let's adjust that to 'deeply offend/insult all people'

Not to be racist, but I would be scared if any 3 random people followed me home(no matter if they were latin american, asian, african american, european, or any other race/nationality). There is no reason to single out a certain race.

Hoping that you and your fellow stalkers get at a taste of your own medicine isn't as bad as say....ACTUALLY stalking someone, like you guys did to Yao. Yeah, I'm not sorry and you and your friends don't get it.

Let's adjust that to 'creepy stalkers who need a taste of their own medicine'

What your friends did is a total jerk thing to do. Sad thing is you don't seem to realize it - and that is scary. I think strangers should invade your parents home at least once and make them uncomfortalble. But the type of guy you seem to be - you probably wouldn't give a crap about that either. Very sad.

If only you made as much of an effort to actually keep your crazy douchebag friends from stalking people as you do defending those very douches on clutchfans, none of this would have happened.

WOW. way to read my posts thoroughly. Bravo. You assumed that I condoned the actions of those people in the pictures who followed Yao. I was only responding to posts with possibly 'racist' remarks and posts where someone wishes ill-will on another human being.
I challenge you to find a post where I defended them from following yao.
In fact...I happen to disagree with what they did.
You have lost a lot of credibility as a poster my friend. Be sure to read and reread before you make assumptions and make accusations. That's part of posting on a forum 101.

WHY all of a sudden you have to pick on me ??

WHY should Big Yao kick the @$$ out of me ??

He was so messed up by the Western media, and a most mis-understood player/person in NBA.....and by doing what I can in translating and posting the other side of the real picture of what happened to him in games, and how he genuinely felt about his games, the league and his team, IMHO, I'm helping for the BIGGER cause to let the world know BETTER how great a player and a person he is.

WHY should he kick the @$$ out of me ??

A little off tangent, but the more I hear about Yao and his folks, the more they impress me. The dude makes enough money to own a string of homes in a gate community if he wanted to, but chooses to live in a relatively modest home.
The security thing is worrisome, but the Mings just sound like a down-to-earth family. Kinda cool.

    Anyway, IBTL! :)

LOCK THIS THREAD PLEASE!! we've succumb to having arguments about "forum posting credibility" hahahah

and about consipiricy theories like this one:

    - yao ming invited those guys to his house (thats how they got through the gates)
    - got them drunk so they look like douchebags (like borat did to the college dudes)
    - got his mom to take the pics (yao took the pic of the guys with his mom)
    - used his own clutchfans account "randomdude" (suitable name for someone who doesn't want to be identified) to post the pictures
    - instant messages tmac and mutomobo (who are online playing WoW) the link to the thread, and all of them laugh at how gullible we are

All of this because he was sad pryuen's yao rehab thread ended, and he wanted another thread all about himself that gets 10's of thousands of views in one day!

Yao I know you are reading this!!! I have uncovered your plan for self publicity!!! But I like your publicity anyways :D

yea man i think they try to live as humble of a life as they can. his mom probably reminds him everyday to stay like that... its amazing that they are definitely the most well known family in all of asia, yet are so down to earth! i wouldn't be suprise if they invited those three dudes in for tea!! hhahaha probably not. ugh off topic again, oh well

Now I see why some NBA players carry protection with them.

This is easily the craziest and most disturbing thread that I have ever read in GARM here. It rivals some of the legendary ones in D&D.

and seriously.... This was done AFTER a night game. By the time Yao got through with reporters, changed, got his car, got home....

It must've been around midnight by then. When was it even REMOTELY OK to follow someone home past midnight ?!?

RAndomdude. Gee whiz. How can you promote following someone home in the middle of the night. These ignorant people are just spoiled and anything but intelligent. Any normal person would want these "insert name that I don't want to start" arrested and charged with trespassing. This is REGARDLESS of how Yao SEEMED and reacted that night. Believe me, he was NOT happy about it and the pictures more than shows it. To think otherwise is pretty much being ignorant.

Particularly it was the night (right after the game with LA Clippers) that Yao Ming felt extremely tired/exhausted, got a bit dehydrated and dizzy as he felt all his physical strength and energy completely drained............

As fans, we need to be more considerate to Big Yao !!!

I agree. I'm as big a Yao fan as anyone, but it isn't that crucial to meet the dude. These players are people and need privacy. At first i laughed this thread off, but if they did follow him home, that's very disturbing. Big ups to Yao for not being an a**hole about it, which he should have been. You have to draw the line between being a die hard fan and being outright disrespectful and creepy. I hope this is just a once in a career occurence for him. Thats even too much. YOU DONT FOLLOW PEOPLE HOME OR ANYWHERE FOR THAT MATTER.

I think personally for me randomdude just shot himself in the foot. He gave the guys props making it sound like a cool thing to do. He was practically begging for major props for this thread in the first place. The whole post reeks of those little high school dudes who are like, look at me i'm a mad ass cause I did that. Thats probably what pissed most people off. That you were jealous of your friends for doing it, and that your friends thought of doing it in the first place.
