Another possiblity was Yao mom made some ignorant comments of removing two cylinders. Yao was maybe making fun of his mom ignorance and the reporter thought it is true. Another statement in pryuen's original translation may offer some clue here to. One comment from Yao was that the car was really good and it was still very quiet even at 80 miles/hr. Put a 6 cylinder enginer on a car suppose to have 8 cylinder, engine would labor (and louder) at high speed.
The fact that anyone would give credit to these dudes for what they did is beyond me. The reality is that Yao is so nice that he can't say no to anything but like many have pointed out he is clearly annoyed. Dude, you took a picture with his mom. Are you serious? Yao is about the only player in the league who wouldn't have kicked the **** out of you. Follow Ron Artest or even Bonzi Wells home and try to take pictures with them. Then, if you're still alive for some odd reason, ask if their moms are available for a quick pic as well. That should seal the deal for ya'll. How would you feal if somebody followed you home right now (just as a normal person) or followed your girlfriend or mom home? Then hopped out and starting snapping photos. You can get shot for that and it certainly isn't legal. I gurantee you now Yao will talk to the Rockets about getting him protective measures for getting home.. Basically, you just caused the Yao to have to adjust his already hectic life. Now he can't even drive home without worrying about 3 clowns jumping out of a car and running into his garage. Unreal

OMG This is so ****ED UP, it's not even funny. I'm Chinese, and this really pisses me off. I mean the hero of 1 BILLION people, and someone can easily follow him home and pull a gun and assasinate him and his family if they wanted to. Does anybody remember what happened to the tennis player Monica Seles? This is totally unacceptable! And you guys are so ****en unbelievable for following him home like that. And how the hell can that idiot put his arms around Yao's mom like that???? That is so disrespectful in the Asian culture. Bunch of dumbasses!!! I hope this story gets out in the Chinese press! Something needs to be done about this ****. Yao is too valuable to our contry to have a bunch of stooges like you compromise him.

I heard Pacman Jones likes to be followed after games and is more then happy to sign autos and take pictures with his fans. His boys will also drink a few beers with you and just talk about sports in general. How about a trip to Tennessee for you guys.
