I had a nice awkward meeting with a former school crush. At my 20th High School reunion, I saw her from across the room. I walked over, said "remember me"? and she smiled and said yes. OK, I looked it up. Most Gastro doctors put you under nowadays, easier on everyone involved. Apparently the worst thing about the procedure is the 24-48 hours of prep with laxatives and not eating. I'd say if you go to a Doctor that is not going to put you under, find another Doctor to do it. Also, virtual colonoscopy is still rarely used due to the fact that if they find something, they have to do a scope anyways.
