Orlando 84, Charlotte 101. 9 minutes left in 4th Q. What the heck! It's one of the hottest teams at the beginning of the season. LOL. I am glad both TMAC & SF3 left the damn team.
plus, Emeka Okafor is in injury list and is not playing tonight. And Magic even can't beat a Okafor less Bobcats.
Bobcats are playing great team basketball, Orlando isn't same goes to the Bucks, they have been awful, and I expected them to make the playoffs easy.....
they did I missed that...but still when he played they did not show much as a team they miss Ford a lot, he created some great offensive plans for them
Orlando is in serious need of some off the dribble creators to get their offense going. You know, guys like TMac or maybe even Steve francis...
I doubt many people here follow the Magic or I would do a poll on how many think Brian Hill will be back. Despite the recent public statement of confidence from the Magic brass, I think he is a dead coach walking. The body slamming they got from us last night had them talking about the Bobcats during postgame interviews. Then they go out and lose. The Magic cannot afford to bring Hill back unless they shove a new assistant down his throat that will be ready to take over during next season.
and whats Villanueva's problem? true he's had an injury or 2 - but even when he's been in the lineup for awhile he just cant seem to warm to the task!! keep picking him up on my fantasy team - and he keeps letting me down.
Houston can't even beat Atlanta or Boston. At least, they lost half their games to those teams, which seems to be the criteria used for this thread.
I think probably the main difference is that Orlando *needed* to win this game to have a chance at the playoffs. They might still pull it off, but it was considered a *must win* by the team. And for good reason.
Earlier this season i thought Bucks might actually go to the playoffs and win some games because i thought they have an awesome trio (Redd, Villanueva, Bogut). guess the two rookies did not turn out too well. (btw if u think Alston is a bad PG, look at Smush Parker @ Lakers and Carlos Arroyo @ Orlando)
Actually he isn't that good. Jameer Nelson would be a very good sparkplug off the bench. He would not be a starter on a contending team. This is a contract year for him and his career is at a crossroads. If a team (like the Magic) commits big money to this guy they will be making a mistake. Next season should prove it either way, but I say after he signs long term this summer he won't get much better, and will remain undisciplined and selfish for his entire career.
He doesn't have any passion for the game. It was obvious back in UConn, and it's held serve in the pros. Evan
Orlando is currently beating the hell out of Utah. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/boxscore?gid=2007031419
Pff, now let's apply the NBA transitive property, a favorite of ESPN. A>B-B>C-A>>C. Houston>Orlando. Orlando>Utah. Houston>>Utah Pff. WE'RE GONNA OWN THEM JAZZ.
