I have a nice deal with mine. She lets me watch Rocket games if I let her watch Grey's Anatomy and Project Runway....and agree not to heckle.
Wow, when I was at A&M I'm sure I could have gone down to girl's floor in my dorm and on that one floor found plently of girls that satisfy the different criteria of guys in here from looks to intelligence to hobbies etc and so forth.
The only true objection I have to dating women from A&M is that I fear that if we end up getting married and having children, she might persuade my children to go the A&M, and I'm not going to be any Aggie's father. Gotta nip it in the bud.
I married an aggie and the only sport she likes is basketball (some football). Luckily shes a 2%'r (otherwise I wouldn't be near her). On one of our first dates I started telling aggie jokes (forgetting she was an aggie)- she didn't mind.
Rice has the ugliest female students in the country. I know nothing about A&M girls...except some wear class rings, which annoys me.
Yes, and they can also be quite painful when she tries to [HARDCORE p*rn REFERENCE DELETED BY MODERATOR]. Believe you me.
This post is coming from a Rice grad? Your English professor would have a heart attack if they had seen this. But please, let's go back to the "aTm is stoopid!" posts.
I tried to date an Aggie, but she was a rocket scientist, literally, not figuratively. I am convinced that rocket scientists can only date other rocket scientists.
I agree with that. Not that there is anything wrong with scientists; my favorite sister is a rocket scientist. That's why it is such slim pickings at Rice. Dating scientists/engineers is for someone else to do--not me. This Aggie is a PhD, btw. But so is rimbaud, so that doesn't mean much.
there is hope........when i first met my fiance, i asked if he was a big basketball fan b/c i was warning him i was and he said no. he learned to read the articles and listen for them on the radio and now likes it too. not nearly as much as me but he did get me tix to the sell-out miami game a few weeks ago during our home leave. i only got to see 2 home games this whole season from working overseas.... luckily i'll be home in May so i'll be looking for playoff tickets then.
