It was obvious that we were playing much taller players who were more athletic and better scorers. Their shooters seemed to be always taking open shots- JVG what happened to our great defence?
Wow, Yao was a real bumbling oaf out there tonight. Getting outmuscled by Kurt Thomas and just barreling into everyone. Rafer, played like a headless chicken as usual. Tmac, bricklayer extraordinaire. What a disgusting game.
Amen brother preach on. JVG like I will keep on saying no matter what he does in the playoffs should not be allowed back to this team. Enough is Enough.
That's Suns. We cannot really beat them now, i tjink. Awful game. Onlu Hayes was good. Tracy awful game. 8/28 N/C. He was not feeling it at all. Just one of the worse games for him. Yao, you know. Skip to my lou...are you kidding me? He is struggling. He cant make wide open 3s. He shoots too much. As I said earlier we play good with good teams and we play bad with great teams. Let's forget about it. I cant wait for the Clippers' game. We will kill them.
I will be in H-Town for my yearly one game of the season since I live 6hrs from Houston. I hope they beat the Clippers Wednesday.
i hate to pile on after such a tough loss, but this isnt the issue. Dont you find it disturbing that we repeatedly get our a**es handed to us by the suns. Its like they OWN us. We always get outcoached.
Yao will do better in the next Phoenix Game. It won't be on a back to back and he will have more games under his belt and closer to 100% than he was tonight.
Sick game to watch... The Suns whole team totally embarrassed the Rockets, they make each and everyone of the rox players look like high school kids trying to play in the big league.
??? People need to calm down. The Rockets were competitive tonight. If their outside shooting hadn't been so bad (which was probably mainly a result of the back-to-back), they could've had a shot.
Can't agree more!!!!! I am so mad at JVG! Rafer is just too slow ! we need JL3, SNider, span to make everybody energetic in keeping intensive defense. JL3 is quick to follow nash. I think he did a good job. But he didn't get a single chance in the second half. Why no snider ??? this is the game we exactly need him !!!! We need 10 rotations versus suns. JVG's defense system will never work on suns and mavs. But he refuses to change. So many opens for suns!!!! Roxes can't keep their pace with them. You have to use you bench. Last time without yao and tmac, bench is even playing much better!!!! I guess if it had been JVG got rejected, we could have won the game!!!
I recommend you guys head to the strip club and get yourselves a few lapdances and drinks to calm down.
I just don't think this is a good matchup for Yao. He's had maybe one or two good games against them, but generally he looks really bad. He played very poorly against them early in the season as well. As for T-Mac, Shawn Marion has owned him in two games this season. The Rockets pick-and-roll defense looked uncharacterically crappy today. I guess Phoenix has a way of making team's look totally clueless on defense. San Antonio usually matches up well against them, though. They have superior perimeter quickess with Parker, Ginobili, and Bowen. Not to mention Duncan is far more mobile defending outside the paint than Yao.
I really don't think it was the coaching. We don't match up well against them and we had too many Jumpshots with 20 seconds left on the shot clock. Yao/TMac/Rafer killed us, not coaching
YES, YES YES !!! It's definitely not players' problem. It's the coatch's defense and offense system has the problem!!! You need to change your rotations to match different team!!! We need LU3, SPAN, SNIDER those quick and physical benches to make the whole team fresh and energetic and quicker!!! we lost because of defense instead of offense. We can't defense then the offense crashes....
