good win but not too be a downer but it was not good to see the rockets lose a 21 point lead to like 10 in the 4th in no time because of careless turnovers and poor defense. we did not have complete scrubs in there the entire time either. it forced jvg to put yao and tracy back into a game that should have been won easily and we have to play phoenix tomorrow. as annoying as clyde is his "killer instinct" speech is very appropriate for this team who needs to learn to close the door shut. Now i dont mean extend a 21 point lead to 30 with your best guys not out there, but keep a 21 point at 18-21 points. Just dont lose the lead. I was just frustrated because the magic made their run with mainly bench players as well. it will be interesting to see yao's conditioning on the back to back. man is it just me or do we have a hard time making it over that 15 game mark? i dont know if we'll win tomorrow but it seems anytime we are 15 games over 500 we lose the next game. here's hoping that streak ends
Love the win, love the see the Rockets play unselfish.. Thanks T-Mac, Thanks Chuck, Thanks Battier, Thanks Howard and of course Thanks Yao.
Meh! It's a win. We will see how they handle themselves against the Suns. Win or lose, I am more interested in seeing if we will be more competitive against them and specifically how Yao will respond to the fronting defense that has neutralized him in the past. It will be an interesting game to dissect and examine...can't wait!

Congratulations to Alston on the great pass to Yao Ming while he was in scoring position. It was perfection! Unfortunately he still is refusing to pass and taking his own shots and of course missing some of them. He seems to perform better as a shooter when he is set up and the ball is being passed to him. i do however see improvement in his game. Glad to see JVG using Snyder! Yao looks unyaoable, possibly 40 next game? Team is beginning to play well again. Looking Good! The big question is will ESPN still keep promoting Dwight Howard as the Future Center of the NBA- Could be true if you are thinking 2015-2020
I am declaring myself a JVGOF... on playing the Suns on Monday: "the way they beat our ass I'm sure they're looking forward to it too"
totally agree. i feel the lacking of "killer instinct" is a big problem with the rockets. our key players are too nice and they can't help but bring their personaly onto the court as well. they should learn to separate this. be nice as you can off the court, but on the court, you have to be a mean, mofo, never let down competetor! nice game otherwise though. hope they keep the momentum going.
It's a hell of a lot more likely than Andrew Bynum - whom they pump up just as much. Mark Jackson was going on and on last week about how they did the right thing not moving him to get Jason Kidd - that game he managed 6 points in a loss to the Suns. He's not an awkward stiff without skills, so he must be a future all-NBAer! Perhaps the most overrated player in the league right now, even if you just base it on his potential. He had a 20-point game in early Nov (the only one he's had this season), and the media has been going nuts over him since. Evan
i thought it was strange that dwight howard only played 31 min and yao a couple of games from his injury played 35 min.....anyone else notice this?
Coach probably thought the game was out of reach and rested DH most of the 4th so he can be well rested for the Charlotte game tonight (back2back).
