I see so many posts stating Rudy needs to leave. Rudy needs some time to develop his type of team. He is not perfect. I don't like the way he calls his time outs but I will tell you that he gets more out of his players than any coach except for maybe Sloan. I honestly believe that he is a Rocket. Anybody else that comes in would consider this a job. Nobody else(except for one of us that are members of this site) would care as much. That translates to players. They start caring more than an average pro player. I did not agree with Francis being on the bench at the end of the game and Cat having so many shots. Did any of you bashers think why he might of done that? I listened to his conversation on 610 today. Here is my take on why he did that. Cat is a free agent this year. I guarantee he will get alot of looks from other teams. Rudy needs to determine if Cat is a keeper. Should we spend the money to retain him? He is probably our best trade bait(I hope Francis is untouchable), should we package him? Look, you geniuses have all the answers. Rudy is loyal. He will give everyone of his players a chance. Mumu- One other thing you forgot is Rudy is the Coach of the next Olympic team. That will be an excellent recruiting opportunity for the Rockets or a PR nightmare if he gets fired before then.
