The talking heads keep on saying 65 teams for the NCAA tournment. What the heck? Since when there are 65 teams? Where is that invisible 65th team? Is it Syracues?
There's a play-in game on Tuesday. It's due to the addition of the Mountain West conference that added an additional automatic bid and they didn't want to reduce the number of at-large teams that make the tournament. IMO, the play-in game should be the last two at-large teams instead of two teams from lower conferences. The kids that lose the play-in game really don't get to live the Tournament experience like the other 16 and 15 seeds.
