this is funny, this reminded me back in 2004 when the Cardinals Website had a public poll before the 2004 NL Championship Series started in which asked the fans to vote the outcome of the series which INCLUDED the Astros in 4/5/6/7 games, and EV1.net (that dreaded place I call a former employer) posted on their homepage to vote on the Cardinals' homepage and it was ridiculous, something like 80% of the votes were we were going to win the series in x amount of games. Lets go over there and vote for Houston! LOL that would be kind of funny since we are most likely their first round opponent! GO VOTE!
It would be kind of cool if the Rockets fell to the 6th seed...... and the Jazz get the 3rd seed. Then we will "upset" them the first round. Then we go on to beat Phoneix after trailing 3-1, with Shane hitting a 3 for a 4 point-lead in the final minute.We will finish the Western Conference run off by beating the Spurs and sweeping what ever scrub team's coming out of East. Yeah, i'm feeling nostalgic
It's strange that they aren't even worried about Phoenix in the playoffs. They have Phoenix at the bottom of the poll with Denver and the LA Clippers.
This is kind of unfair since apparently there are more texas fans on that site than Utah fans. We all know Utah fans haven't discovered the internet yet. But Phoenix at 5%? really?
They'll make the playoffs, the east is that bad. Hill is their coach again, they have a dominant young big man that the rest of the league/media is crowing the next best center while the current best centers plays on our team and being completely ignored. I feel the stars aligning If not, I'll settle for sweeping another Shaq lead Florida team, it's colse enough.
Let's not do this. Remember a couple of years back there was a poll on a Dallas website about who would win the series Dallas or Houston and clutchfans owned the poll with like 90% Houston then yall know what happened.
I think its a sign of lack of confidence for the official team site to be posting a poll about who they would NOT like to face. A confident team would be looking to take on all comers.
I think Utah fans know they will play either Houston or Lakers. So the fans are voting Houston over Lakers, probably more because this means they will get the #3 seed than out of fear of Houston.
