Friday, March 9th, 2007 marks the 10 year anniversary of the untimely death of one of the greatest rappers ever, The Notorious B.I.G.

I can't believe it's been ten years- seems like just the other day.

Jam some Biggie tomorrow to remember his life and celebrate his rhymes.

I'll jam a B.I.G. playlist. There are more than enough songs to fill it.

Never really liked his garbled flow, but loved his lyrics. RIP Big.

10 years ago, I didn't like Biggie's rhymes. But as I grew up, I realized how great he was when comparing him to modern day acts. Growing up with ppl like Tupac, and Biggie makes you nostalgic for what hip hop once was.

in the words of chris rock

"tupac and biggie weren't assassinated. Martin Luther King, Malcolm X they were assassinated. Tupac and biggie got shot"

i love both tupac and biggie's music its a shame both were killed for pointless reasons but its a damn shame how they are revered by today's youth more than revolutionaries like MLK Jr, Malcolm X, Mother Teresa etc.

Both were great, but I've always thought Pac was the best and Biggie was a close runner up. Rap these days is hard to listen to.

actually it was "martin luther king was assassinated, john f. kennedy was assasinated, malcom x was assasinated, them two ni99as got shot".

look i like thier music too, but i laugh everytime someone mentions them like they were gods, or philosophers or revolutionaries. i cant believe there is a college course base on them.

The opening to that song was classic enough. I'd almost swear with that line he touched out to and kept a million more fans :)

I've actually taken such a course at The University of Texas at Austin- Christoper Wallace was more than just a rapper to me. His lyrical genius and social consciousness have shaped our society today. His rhymes make me yearn for those lyrical masterpieces and his masterful prose of yesteryear.

**** the ying yang twins, **** Lil' John, **** those commercial rappers- go hard or go home biatches.
