His bugged out eyes, certainly freaked me out. This is a pretty pathetic group of guys. Blake is the only one that I kind of like. Brandon and Jared have been exceedingly generic, and the two Chris' haven't impressed me much lately. Everyone else sucks. It's funny because after Chris Sligh's audition, I pegged him as a possibility to win it all. But it seems like he peaked on that Seal song, and hasn't even been close since. Maybe he should start picking songs that people have actually heard of.
I actually hope she keeps getting voted through. It's worth it to see Simon just pile on her after each lousy performance.
melinda was great...lakisha was solid. after that, i didn't hear anything all that good really. personally i thought gina trying to go for amy lee was terrible...she sounded like she shouted the whole song. i'd prefer to see antonella (obviously) and stephanie gone i think. stephanie/sabrina/haley/gina..any of the 4 could go and i wouldn't care.
You'd bump Stephanie? She's a better singer than the other girls you mentioned in the second paragraph. But I guess her problem is that she's running the same R&B style as superior performers like Melinda and Lakisha. Sooner or later Stephanie will be going out. Still, I'd let her stick around for now at least. I'd probably dump Antonella and Haley. That performance by Haley was pretty bad. She did a Faith Hill song that was totally inferior to the original. And it's not as if Faith Hill is that great of a singer either. I'm with you on Gina and Sabrina though, I would not miss either of them. As for the survivors, more and more I think that Melinda is going to go all the way. Lakisha's got a great voice and all, but Melinda has more personality and brings more variety in her style.
You hit the nail on the head. It will be Lakisha's stage presence that eliminates her, unless she desides to start livening it up. The thing is that I just love her voice and everything she sings is almost effortless. I'm curious what music niche she would be in, if she won it. I also agree to eliminate Antonella and Haley. You need to change your sig to m_cowell.
Well, the winner has to be either Melinda or LaKisha, but does it really matter? They are both going to get recording contracts out of this. I would love to see Antonella gone along with Haley but I don't think the "American" audience is going to vote Antonella off. My predictions for who is going tonight will be Brandon, Jared, Haley, and Gina (although that last one is very hard to predict). In all actuality, the ones who should really go are Phil (overrated from the very beginning), Sanjaya (for obvious reasons), Antonella (also for obvious reasons), and Haley.

So much for vote for the worst. I was wondering how much pull that site had, but apparently it's not that much. They've just supported guys in the past that people were already going to vote for (i.e. Kelly Pickler, Taylor Hicks). As for the results, I can't disagree with any of the cuts. Sure Sanjaya should have gone before Jared, and Haley should have gone before Sabrina, but none of these guys are worth losing sleep over. Jared's been generic and boring, and Sabrina has basically been lost in the shuffle of other R&B belters.
Haley is hot !! Blake is far and away my favorite.....like Chris Daughtery last year, I watch the show to see what Blake will do. DD
