For all of you calling out Kobe for being a wuss....YOU ARE MORONS. Say what you want about him, but this guy is the ultimate warrrior...he once challenged Shaq to a fight in practice and the two had to be separated. Shaq is a large dude, but I wouldn't count out an angry Kobe. And just cuz he didn't hit Raja back doesn't mean he can't and wouldn't kick his ass another time. Oh yeah, and that Chris Childs fight...you call those punches...my sister punches ten times harder than Childs...in fact, I'm not even sure Kobe FELT those girly swings that supposedly connected. Please, I've studied mixed martial arts the majority of my life, and I would not even say I could surely kick his arse. Anytime somebody is fit, strong, athletic, coordinated and angry, that person is DANGEROUS. Kobe is hyper fit, hyper strong, and hyper coordinated.
mike miller fouls him pretty hard, don't think it was intentional, but kobe did i guess. the next possesion or so he elbows mike intentionaly and pretends he did it on accident. <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/CtIZf-rDu1w"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/CtIZf-rDu1w" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
He is a dirty player end of discussion. See the tape of his incidents with Ginobilli, Jaric, and Mike Miller
i think the jaric incident was on accident. imo, these all-star players act alot, ala iverson, jefferson (nets). kobe is used to that kind of motion which is pure acting and is dangerous and incidents like this could happen. like someone else mentioned, thats probaly why he got suspended. jaric himself said there should have been no suspention, and that kobe said sorry right after it. either way, kobe is a dirty player
Kobe seems like one of those dudes who picks fights knowing his teammates/buddies are there to help break up the fight in a second.
You need to study your martial arts harder if you are not confident in your ability to beat Kobe Bryant. The dude got body slammed by Reggie Miller. In fact, all he has ever shown is that he cannot fight. Being fit really has nothing to do with it either when you are talking "street fight" scenarios. It really has more to do with your ability to keep your cool and not let the adrenaline sabotage you.
plz excuse my ignorance just wanna say argentina is the only country in Latin America with a white majority
Dave_78 vs beyao, youtube it! I'm the minority in the Kobe can fight camp. Just because Miller tackled him to a table doesn't mean Kobe can't fight. Even if you listen to the announcer he makes a comment about Millers face being damaged. Just because Childs contacted the first blow doesn't mean Kobe can't fight.
You ask, "What's up with Kobe and white guys"? That's nothing. You should see what he does with white girls. Hope I don't get banned for that one.
Are you kidding me? Jermaine O'neal absolutely cranked that guy and might have killed him if those two were alone. Artest most certainly would have destroyed the guy who threw the beer.
Kobe is a wus and a tool. He's a pampered, spoiled baby who went and got tats to get some 'street cred.' Nobody's scared of him, just as Raja Bell showed. Shaq got Kobe his rings, and now that Kobe gets to be the Lakers' 'MJ' - which is what he b****ed about wanting - we see where the Lakers are heading. Either missing the playoffs or another first-round thrashing. And by the way, Kobe's defense is garbage. He used to be good, but he's just putrid now. For all the Kobe apologists, get over it. Shaq won, Kobe lost, it's over. It's LeBron's and Wade's league now. Kobe found out the hard way that it pays to play with a great big man. #24 does not = #23. Geez, I mean, 'Stick' Miller bodyslammed him. Pathetic...
Dude, Kobe went to the lockerroom and told Mike Miller he'll be back. When he got back in the game he proceeded to elbow Miller in the throat while he was driving to the hole with the elbow (premeditated) and got suspended. In the post game interview (Im sure you can find it) he said it was leadership and he was showing his guys that they can't just let people drive in the lane. It was a punk move.
Dude, you completely ruined the whole white guy thing we had going. I'm sure most everyone saw that close up when they showed it on NBA TV last year and was just ignoring it to go along with the flow. I know I was.
I dont think i convinced anyone in this thread any different including myself. He does go after white guys who wont retaliate. After Raja choke slammed him for that hit, he didn't even think about retaliting on Raja.
Kobe, is without a doubt a huge prick. But you cant tell me there is a better SG in the league period, including T-mac.
