Ok, I have no experience with the scalpers for Rockets games. I do it all the time for baseball games but have never done it for the Rockets.

So where exactly are they located around Toyota Center? And is there anything different about them than baseball scalpers?

i see them all the time. there's big black guy who always wears football jerseys, him and his friends scalp tickets. i've seen pics of him on the bbs with the players, so i assume he's legit.

heh, I think it was the dallas or miami game, there was a "homeless" person giving him his "story" why he needs money, and told him I didnt have cash, and then asked if i had a extra tix. Thats freaking lame.

Scalpers are the best people to find when a game is sold out. I remember we got tickets to the Rookie Game during the ASW in Houston. We didn't even intend to go but we couldn't pass up lower level seats for $10.

I was at the Chili Peppers concert tonight. Must have been 3X more scalpers than usual... But ya, the tix are fine, just look at them.

If you don't mind missing the first couple minutes of the game, you can usually get them for face or lower.

I had bought tickets several times for sold out concerts and rockets games and usually got a pretty good deal. But I got screwed on the Rockets-Knicks game. One guy sold me ticket that had already been scanned. I could not buy a ticket at the box office because they only had the $50+ tickets left. So I have never bought anymore since.

My advice, buy at the box office early.
