I hope and believe he will start shortly and then rest for 10-15min then back to court for 10min and then sit on the bench for the rest of the game, since we already lead for >20 points. :D :D

Guys, sit cool. It might be tough to watch yao shaking off his rust. I guess it will take 3-5 games.

That is what all Rockets Fans expect. His only presence in the game will make all of us happy ;)

    I'd guess Novak

Span has at least seen a little time, while Novak has not.

our most immediate need besides getting Yao back is to have a backup at the one, and together JL and SPan make one backup. ;)

It would be so sweet if he could start.. he will get his limited minutes anyways, and i think starting will definitely inspire the team to play with the intensity that jvg's been asking for the last few games

How about big Jake? If Yao can play 15-20 mins.

I don't expect yao to miss a beat. He always comes back strong after injury.

I agree. We should first try this way to see how it goes, and it is easier for Yao to return back to 100% slowly. It will be like Amare in Suns' game where Nash makes plays.

I also do not expect them to slow down their pace too much. It would be better if the role players step up and play as if Deke is still in the game.

When Bonzi was healthy, Novak was already on the inactive list. So, assuming Bonzi comes back in the next couple of games, my guess would be that Novak goes back to the inactive list along with Spanoulis.

the best thing about his return is that he change the brace that i first saw him in.he look quick and comfortable while running up and down the court.i think that he will get tired but hey he will adjust very quickly.houston rockets nba champion 2007.nobody would want to face us .with a healthy yao and a healthy t-mac,we fear no one.the entire league will soon know what we are made of.at the beginning of the year ,t-mac wasn't himself but now that he is back at his best man yao is going to have a good time.imagine alle those easy basket that mutumbo and hayes missed .yao will make them alle the time. i can't wait

Even if he is rusty, I think it could be a mental boost this team needs. So long as they understand that it will take more than just getting the big fella back.

Oh and i agree with what was said about Yao coming back strong from injuries.

Novak for sure but Tsakalidas may be the other guy when Bonzi comes back.

I am so excited! Honestly, I think part of our recent Rocket let down was subconsciously the team was thinking Yao's almost back, and the push to stay afloat until his return was over.

Think about it. The problems started just when Yao started shooting around and such just before the all star break.

This team is going to rally around their big guy and get it done.

Whoo hoo! Almost a completely healthy team! Couldn't come at a better time.

"His workouts have been tremendous," Dawson said. "They were kind of blown away. Clanton was really impressed. So we're going ahead as scheduled. He will be on the active list."
