MicroCenter sent me a coupon for a free 1GB SD card or 1GB jump drive. I placed it to the side for about a month, and then when I was about to go to the store to redeem it- I realized it had expired.

    I felt like a fool. :(

They've been having them on sale on-and-off for quite some time now.

If you give them an email address at the cash register, they'll mail you a coupon to get the 2-gig drive for $12.

NOTE: Get a whole bunch of 'em and give them to friends and family as birthday/Christmas presents.

Just an FYI for anyone who's thinking about picking these up, I have both the SD and USB flash drive - they are both awful. The transfer speeds on them are so slow, they are almost unusable. I've used the USB drive only a few times -- I had to copy about 400 MB worth of files to it, and it probably took 12 minutes. The SD card was basically the same. I use the SD card to hold MP3s for ExciteTruck on the Wii. You'd be better off spending a bit more money and getting something with a decent transfer speed.

For $12, mine treats me just fine. But... chocolate and vanilla...
