Does JVG really want Bonzi to be recovered from injury?

Due to the good performance by Snyder.

A good coach never worries about how to allocate playing times among his good players. And they don't set fixed time for any players in any quater (such as Yao for first 8-9 minutes). Maybe JVG wants Vspan to be injured so he will not get blame from the fans. It's way more harder to coach a good team than a bad one. It's way more harder to teach offense than defense.

Can anyone tell me what are those JVG's white note pads for? Playing time? I can even tell when he will send who to the court!

I've been really impressed with Snyder-he definetly has a future with the Rockets. So I really wouldn't mind if he got more PT over Bonzi, who pretty much has no future with the Rockets.

    How to follow the Rockets...

Game 1: Snyder plays well. Bonzi doesn't play. Fans scream for Bonzi and blame JVG for not playing him.

Game 2: Snyder injured. Bonzi doesn't play well. Fans say Bonzi is a bum and he'll never fit in here.

Game 3: Bonzi plays well. Fans complain JVG is holding him back.

Game 4: Bonzi hurt. Fans say JVG is playing him too much.

Game 5: Bonzi come back, plays well. Fans say JVG was just holding Bonzi out and he wasn't really injured.

Game 6: Snyder doesn't play despite being healthy. Fans claim JVG is holding him back.

Game 7: Snyder comes in and plays poorly. Fans say Snyder is no good and complain that Bonzi isn't playing more.

Game 8: Snyder plays well. Fans think Bonzi is getting too many minutes.

Game 9: No matter what happens, fans say the team should've done the opposite.

    Continue and repeat as necessary.

Talked about this exact same thing in the other thread. JVG can do no right.

Hey, that's a topic reserved for another thread ... usually on Mondays, Fridays, back-to-back, or games on days divisible by 3.

Unfortunately, that's what happens when more than half the members of the board whine constantly.

I'm surprised you guys haven't caught on yet.

JVG is keeping Bonzi's stock relatively low so he'll be more likely to sign with us for longer. Brilliant! ;)

If Bonzi can't stay healthy, then we can't rely on him in the playoffs....

Bonzi can at least be the Spurs specialist. He seems to have good luck with that team.

Hopefully Les isn't making basketball decisions based upon some knee-jerk reactionary fans. If so, we'll have a new coach every other week. lol.

No but he is making decisions based on how well the team is received in the Houston community, and how well tickets are selling.

For all JVG's strengths, he is certainly NOT a guy who rallies the fans.....unless he buys them tickets.

I thought his injuries were on his foot and his back? I don't know if he had any glute-related injuries or not.

What in the world are you talking about? DD, it's posting stuff like this that causes people to lampoon you so much. Does (or did) PJ rally fans in Chicago and LA? No. Does Pop rally fans in San Antonio? No. This isn't college football. And satisfying knee-jerk reactionary NBA fans is an impossible task. Unfortunately, a high percentage of them post in Clutchfans.
