I don't understand why we went away from the formula that worked for us in the first half when we went for that run. This is so frustrating. This happens every single game.
He's not a freaking robot... the guy is playing his ass off (the only one on the court doing that), and is exhausted.
The other team was also a part of that... the Spurs started missing more shots and turned the ball over some. They're not doing that now.
From whom? If that's the case, then I missed it. Anyways, Sloan should be COY so he might not be 'underrated' anymore at that point. Yeah, that's what I said earlier in this thread. The Spurs are looking past us and every other team in the league. Great teams don't search out 'statement games', instead their only focus is on improving themselves and playing at a certain level come playoff time. Spurs, Dallas, and the Suns are three teams that fit that bill. The Rockets are still looking for 'statement games' and moral victories...it just goes to show how far we still have to go if we're to be taken seriously.
There are always contributing factors. You could also say that the lineup we had was the cause of them missing the shots. Whatever it was, whether or not there was a direct causation, I still can't explain why would we suddenly change our lineup and take away our own momentum, when the lineup we had on the floor was what led to our huge deficit.
I can't watch this, just turned the online stream off. This is pathetic, we aren't this bad, at least I hope not.
