What is with the refs tonight...Seems like every time a player turns the corner they blow their whistle....This is ridiculous.

I'm not a JVG-supporter by any means, but V-Span doesn't play because he isn't good enough. Head isn't playing particularly well at the moment, but has proven that he's capable of making open shots, which is what the Rockets need when McGrady is doubled. Spanoulis doesn't have the ability to knock down perimeter shots consistently, and his ball-handling is too erratic to risk playing him in a game in which the Rockets are already turning the ball over too frequently.

Duncan puts all our big guys in foul trouble,
JVG can not find a solution?

I am talking about inconsistent, undisciplined players getting exposed under pressure, especially against the top teams in the league.

Spurs are still easily the best defensive team in the league, and their discipline on offense is almost unmatched.

The Spurs are already gearing up for the playoffs, we're still cruising trying to keep the ship afloat until Yao Ming gets back. The two teams have two completely different mindsets and it shows.

But mostly, I am talking about Luther Head and Rafer Alston.

The lack of execution and inconsistency of some of our role players is downright depressing.

he turns the ball over every time he tries to pass, he cant guard shooting guards because he is too small, he cant play PG because he has no skills for it, he only pops open 3's, he doesnt play smart

in some games its worth it, but in others like tonight, its not

Grah, I'm all for attacking JVG when it actually makes sense to, but this game isin't one of those occasions.

What is JVG supposed to do, drag Yao out and have him play the rest of the game? Or force-feed Deke some Red Bull?

Sadly, all these I have to agree... That is why I always advocate the idea of developing Bill slightly.

VSpan can not do as much harm as Luther does at the point.

If you're down 20, why not try something else? I thought it was clear enough that heads is not the solution right now. Vspan has never been given the opportunities that luther has, so it is extremely unfair to even say that head is "proven."

The Chuck Hayes syndrome is spreading to Dikembe and Rafer.

    Where is Juwan Howard?

Let's not panic....If we can get this lead down to about 8 or 10 we'll have a shot to pull this thing out.
