Are you sure? Rockets Dynasty had the votes going: 1. Spanoulis 2. Sura 3. Jordan 4. Pippen.

I think Rockets Dynasty likes to continue to tell lies on the BBS because, like many pathological liars, he sort of wants to get caught. He enjoys it in a masochistic, gimp-like way.

You were referring to Toni Parker as well

Nevertheless, Manu indeed was a very good Euroleague Player. But he was 25 when he went to the NBA.

When it comes down to late in the season and it seems like our seed positioning is secure, the starters are gonna get much rest and some might not play at all. It's highly unlikely that we're gonna know our seed because our last game is against the Jazz and we might be playing for homecourt in the first round in late April.

Last game, nobody played more than 34 minutes(Shane, Juwan), which is very good. Head is sure to see at least 20min, but if guys like Hayes, Snyder, and Jake get 15-20min, there's no reason to worry. And this was all without Yao and Bonzi.

Exactly....If V-Span was playing for a superior coach like Popovich he would be a MAJOR contributor today.

Popovich let both Parker and Manu develop while playing and they made lots of mistakes.

Heck, Manu goes off kilter a lot, but Popovich puts up with it, and they win because of it.....Manu's creativity adds so much to the Spurs....just like V-Span's would to the Rockets.

right.... ginobiili suceeds at 25 in the NBA and is from europe.... so automatically v-span at 24 would be good in the NBA because he is from europe as well. That's like saying that if given the chance Rajon Rondo would be just as good as Paul was the year before in his rookie year, because he did pretty well in college and came in the league at about the same age as Paul.

You've got to back up the things you are saying. Well V-Span would be doing great if he played under a great coach... that's like saying that I would be in the NBA if I was 6-8, without giving you info on my game.

I hate Ginobili but comparing him to V-Span doesn't make sense.

    Ginobili at 25 vs V-Span
    Jump Shot: Advantage Manu
    Hops: Advantage Manu
    Passing: About even
Dribbling: Advantage Manu (he's deceptive with the ball)
    Quickness: Advantage Manu
    Body Control: Advantage Manu
    Defense: Advantage Manu

Just a random thought.... Ben Wallace has that trademark soundclip they play in the stadium when he enters the game or does something good... its the sound of a gong or bell........because they used to call him Big Ben.

Wouldn't it be cool to have that whistle melody from the KillBill movie everytime Vspan plays... or does something good... it would just add a little more fun to the game. :)

I think Louis Bacalov - The Grand Duel (also from kill bill) would be better . It's an awesome badass piece of music. It sounds like something out of a spaghetti western like when Eastwood or cleef would enter.

what do you have to say now? also, it's a bit easier to crack a rotation when you can hit a jumpshot, which Manu has always been able to do

    STFU about Vspan already

Dan Langhi will be the NBA MVP before DD shuts up about V-span.

    haha

    Spans weakness was exposed tonight

under pressure he did not know what to do, maybe thats why Jeff does not want him on the court

hopefully he'll get more and more minutes so he can develop his game more and turn down on those stupid TO's

Yes, but he'd have to do it without the ball because the crowd had it most of the time he was playing PG...

JVG and GM needs to develop V-Span's
    jumpshot
    unnecessary fouling
    shot selection
    attitude
    over-aggression
    decision making in traffic
mindset to grasp the team concept
ability to not dribble into trouble
    free throwing shooting
    athleticism....
    ......

Just waiting for the Vspan fans to say that he sucked balls tonight because JVG didn't play him enough eariler.

Look, the guy might be a force someday, and I hope he is, but he isn't ready yet and he proved it tonight.
