Im a big Garcia fan. Especially since he stepped up big time for Philly in the postseason - guy has alot of guts.

Still very mobile, and still makes good decisions. Precisely what the Texans need right now - someone to not F up every play.

Garcia was a pro bowler when he played on a good team.

Garcia was a bottom 5 QB when he played for a bad team.

    Go figure.

    He won't fix anything here.

I totally agree here. I don't know how interested he would be in coming to a team like the Texans, but if he is, I'd prefer him to Plummer or most of the other available options.

why not just keep carr? so what if he screws up, that just means a better pick next year !!! and im serious. we are not going to the playoffs anyways, so why save salary cap, use the money on a OL instead of garcia. and draft kolb and use carr as a tool for a year ...then we can get a good pick next year top five hopefully instead of garica winning some games and not getting a great pick and not getting to the playoffs...garcia is a lose lose scenario. i want carr back.. some of the excite ment i had this year was listening to talk radios about carr..it was hilarious...lets keep him .

if the raiders are smart, they'd trade the first pick for andre johnson and carr...we take adrian peterson or calvin johnson...

then, with the 8th pick we take ginn jr, and in second round take kolb

    kolb/peterson/ginn jr WOW

now, why the raiders do this? ..russell will be a bust, and mark it down, basically sucks donkey balls...they dont like moss, and will trade him, they are rebuilding so they dont want a old qb...and andre gives them the best reciever in league minus calvin johnson.

i dont know why but, i really want andre and carr gone. well, carr can stay its funny to get high drat picks for another year, but in all seriousness , i dont want a single player from the casserly era except dunta and even thats a stretch

try to trade the farm to raiders for #1. trade carr, andre, and some doritos for calvin johnson...then i like lynch,, i think he will be the best rb in this draft kinda like jones drew was last year over bush....take lynch at 8th. take kolb in second

    qb- kolb
    reciever -calvin johnson
    receiver -mathis
te - forgot his name, that rookie
ol - pitts, fat slob, winston, spencer, fat slob
    rb - lynch

    I like it.

Whatever happened to the Eagles keeping Garcia and cutting McNabb. That was the one ridiculous talk show host fodder that I really wanted to happen.

Garcia is sooooooooooooo overrated. I can't believe people actually wanted him over McNabb in Philly. And Garcia is 37 yr old. I'd rather have Sage as my starter.

i like garcia and he's solid.. but not for this team.

We're not on the brink. We don't need a 1-2 year stopgap. Might as well stick with Carr and see if he pulls off the miracle turnaround while we draft a young guy..

Oh, Jesus! Isn't it a little f'ing early to start the "tank for a high draft pick" discussion. We haven't even gotten to THIS years draft yet.

I got ya, why don't we go ahead and plan to tank for the the next 5 years. That much losing will surely get the franchise going in the right direction.

no kidding. i'm so tired of that crap. i'm so tired of saying, "well, we shouldn't worry about improving this position because we won't be good anyway."

this has been a ridiculously uninteresting franchise for the past 3 seasons, after the novelty wore off. some spark...some entertainment value aside from the fact they're Houston's franchise would be nice.

Kinda like wanting a QB that was jettisoned by another team because that team has higher expectations? ;)

More like the opposite of not wanting a QB with the 3rd best record in football the last 4 years (behind Brady and Manning), who's made the pro-bowl, who's been in the playoffs, and won the only playoff game in 40+ years for a franchise, because he's apparently no better than a guy who's never done anything in the league. :)

Ugh. Odds are 50/50 at best that he'd start for the Bucs, while he would step right in here. If the money's right, though, I guess players will do anything. Plummer's "retirement" really hurts... one, it makes him still available for us, which I don't want, and two, it led to our best option in Garcia leaving the market to "replace" him, in a sense.
