I am not talking about this game, instead, I am referring to all the games since Yao went down. It becomes clear that Howard and Deke ran out of gas, Battier is becoming less effecient, Alston is becoming...well, you name a word. All these guys log heavy minutes in every game relatively speaking. Whereas like you said, Snyder probably should play more minutes. I would like to add Bill as well, I have always been a supporter for this guy and wish he could play Alston into the bench, as a result get flamed constantly by JVG advocators and anti-euros. Hope JVG and his followers learned sth about Bill last night.
true. i think a lot of us got caught up in there great little run without yao. I was surprised that they hadnt stumbled more, but stumbling to a young and talented raptor team (that just shot it lights out) is one things, the celtics and hawks are another.
If I was told that we would be 35-22 heading into March with Yao and T-Mac playing less than 20 games together, I would happily accept it. But our play has forced most of us to raise the bar. After losing 3 bad games I could expect nothing less than total chaos here. Nothing to be scared about, even the Spurs had back-to-back home losses to the Bobcats and Bucks this season, they didn't hit the panic button.
Yeah that is pretty crappy. The only one that is playing very well is Bonzi and of course Tmac. Does anyone know why Bonzi didn't play very much last night. Just one game removed from a monster game where he was taking it to the rack every chance he got and now he only gets 16 min. a game. I realize Mcgrady came back but he needs to get at least 22-28 minutes every game. He is way too talented even his defense has been very solid as well as his rebounding. If you notice it is all instincts with him unlike some of our other players.
^ yup. at the beginning of the year, if you said rockets would be in the 5th seed with yao missing, what is it 30+ games now?, then people would be doing backflips. I think us as fans just got use to them overachieving.
